“The city has killed off most the squirrels in the park. The squirrels are making a comeback because they’ve eaten all the poison and the traps haven’t been refilled. Thank goodness because I let my dogs off leash here to chase those squirrels. Are there people experiencing homelessness hanging around here? Yes but what can we do but accept their presence.”

“Pretty big park. Looks much smaller from the street. Playground structures are a little big for toddlers, but has a nice, large grass area, several trees for shade. Gazebo with 3 or 4 picnic tables, some benches scattered around. Not crowded when we went on a Friday afternoon.”

“Awesome way to experience the poppy fields! The tour guides are fun and friendly. They have 4 packages you can chose from depending on the amount of time and effort you want to put in. Make an appointment in advance and keep in mind the traffic will be heavy as you get closer to the poppy fields.”

“Tons of wildflower around. Down side overcrowded. I got there at 7am and parking wasn't too bad. By 9am when we were heading out it truly looked like a parking lot. Definitely get there early to avoid the crowds.”

“Very spacious with 2 playgrounds set up, one for the smaller kids and one for the older kids. They have a water park that goes on seasonally which both my kids love. They have sports fields for soccer/misc, a nice sized basketball courts, and also a skate park. It has nice community events that happen fairly often. I've been when there is a lot of ppl and then there are times there aren't much if anyone at all there like today. I enjoy that it offers that variety.”

“They have 2 great playgrounds, one for 2-5 years and another 5 and up, a skate park, splash pad in the summer, 2 baseball diamonds with dugouts and bullpens, Basketball courts, soccer fields and plenty of lighting at night. Only problem I've seen is an insane number of ant colonies tend to congregate on the walking path so if you have toddlers wh like to start and stop they could get ants up their legs. But it's a great park and well worth visiting.”

“Animals and kids are welcome. There are people of all sorts here. There are two playground sets. For the lower level between 2-5yrs and the other is for kids 4-5yrs. There always seems to be someone playing tennis on the courts so hope you get lucky. There is a double basketball court, A baseball field, and plenty of open grass areas for other activities. This park always has a bunch of people because it's a great community. There is also a big hill to climb which is doable with children at 3 yrs old as long as you hold their hand. Loved this park.”
