Temecula KOA at Vail Lake

Way exceeded expectations! Beautiful campground. We were at Site 408 in Arroyo Seco - nice oaks with tons of shade. Super nice staff. Midweek is super quiet (which we liked). Nice place to bike around. Book 12 months in advance. Lots of other nice sites (some have 30 amp instead of 50) - 8, 19, 20, 21, 23**, 26, 28**, 46**, 49**, 50**, 51**, 55**, 71**, 88, 89, 97***, 101, 102, 115, 116, 118, 120, 121, 122, 123, 125**, 173, 182, 183, 185**, 194, 201, 203.

I’ve been camping here for 15 years. I love it. Camping in October is the best. Some kids on their electric bikes go way too fast tho. That is the only downside.

2 great trips here in the month of July. Loved hanging out in the 3 pools, cruising around in our golf cart rental, going to the bar, and listening to the live entertainment on weekends. Will definitely be back soon!

Love this place! We usually go once a year. The store here is awesome! Have purchased many items. Love that there is a bar here also. Every campground should have one. Nice to bring the golf cart and roam around. Lots of shaded areas

Camping over February 2023 Presidents' Day holiday weekend was our first KOA campground experience. Temecula KOA Vail Lake is a huge campground, with many facilities, several loops with large & level sites for all size rigs, and it is dog friendly. We made an on-line reservation for The Oaks area, full hook-ups. We were assigned to site # 112 upon arrival. The Oaks is a pretty section of the campground, however #112 is on the corner of the main road between the centrally located facilities and the 5 loops (sites 82 - 520). The majority of campers were respectful of quiet enjoyment and safe speed rules, but a few played obnoxiously loud music from their golf carts & RVs and some flew past our section. We loved riding our bikes to Vail Lake on 2 trails, the paved path and on Vail Lake Loop trail from the mountain bike park. We enjoyed live music and delicious drinks at the Bunkhouse Bar. Old Town Temecula and local wineries were fun. The staff at Temecula KOA at Vail Lake were very friendly and did an excellent job maintaining the campground.
