The manager was incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and hiking. I felt comfortable leaving my car there while out on a hike. “Like a lot of people that reviewed we saw the line for the place across the street and it was too long so we tried this place out. So glad we did, I got the cheddar wurst with potato salad and sauerkraut. First the potato salad was incredible and I am not usually a fan. The meat link was amazing but the sauerkraut stole the show. It’s really mellow and a prefect compliment to not only the brat but the potato salad as well since there are bits of sausage in it. Really a hidden gem and do yourself a favor and check it out.”

“My 15 year old daughter and I had an amazing experience getting our massages from Margo. She was very punctual and came to our vacation condo. She came prepared with spa music, heated blankets, lotions, essential oils and hot stones. I can be very picky with my massages and she listened to what I like and don’t like and did an amazing job. We go to Big Bear often and are really looking forward to receiving her services again. My 15 year old thought the massage was also very nice with the right amount of pressure for her. After hiking and biking and being on the lake this was very much needed. Can’t wait for our next massage.”

“My first time in Big Bear, kept walking by this place and decided to have lunch here. The service from Taylor was phenomenal. She has great energy and recommended the veggie sandwich. Aside from good beer, the sandwich was the best I’ve had in a long time. The veggies were not soggy, they were tender but crunchy, and the goat cheese tied everything together—along with the house cut fries. We met the owners and it’s clear they care about this business. The decor is Art Deco, with a touch of industrial, and yet it felt homey. We will definitely be back.”

“This was the first time I visited this place. Needed vegetarian food items during our visit. Their deli bar had plat-based chicken pasta! And it was delicious. They also had things like creamy almond milk, sugar-free bakery, Just Eggs, Impossible burger and other plant meats. The cashier was very nice too.”

Everything was clean, we were prompt like seated and our server and host stopped by several times to make sure everything was taken care of. “Slopeside Speakeasy Definitely a great place to stop at and grab a bite whenever you're at Snow Summit. Now I don't know about you, but after a long day of snowboarding and skiing, your girl is definitely ready for a DRINK! Slopeside Speakeasy is tucked up above a set of the most treacherous stairs (I mean, who wants to continue climbing when they just finished a serious leg workout?!) so if you're ready to brave the heights then it is definitely worth it. Slopeside has an outdoor patio and an indoor dining area. Since it was raining heavily on our visit, we opted to sit indoors and warm ourselves with cocktails. Slopeside is well-known for their extra spicy bloody marys, so if you're into that then even ordering their house vodka is well worth the price of $12.50. I, myself, am a whiskey girl so I ordered a house whiskey ginger for the low price of $8.50 and it was definitely a heavy pour over 2 oz. Since you've probably worked up an appetite, there is also an option for dining here. We ordered the chicken tenders and french fries for $9.50, chili cheese fries for $8, and a slice of pepperoni pizza for $7. The prices aren't terrible and the portions are well within the cost but definitely choose the biggest slice of pizza to justify the purchase! One thing I liked was that they had a self-serve condiment station and fountain machine. Nothing quite like filling up on as many ranch cups and soda drinks to fill 'er up! Overall, would definitely return here if I found myself at Snow Summit again. Hoping that the next time I go, it'll be much more animated since the weather was less than kind to us.”

“Probably the best Big Bear Lake Cabin I have ever stayed at, ever. This place is huge, lots of space for family and friends to sleep, play, hang out, and have a great time. The game room is full size, not just a couple games. The Kitchen is updated with everything you’ll ever need. It’s in a corner lot, so there’s plenty of space for parking, and you can literally walk to Bear Mountain Resort with your ski/snowboard. If you golf, the course is about 100 yards away. I will definitely be staying here again. No other place comes close on features, value for the money, amenities, and just good overall Big Bear Lake feel. It’s in a prime location, and there’s even a shuttle nearby that will drive you to the Village in case you’re drinking or having too much fun to worry about driving. My #1 choice from now on when I want an amazing place to stay from now on!!”
