“Had the most amazing stay here with my family this past summer. The attention to detail throughout the whole place is next level. The kids had so much fun in the room with the bunk beds. It's so spacious and was ideal for them and all their friends. The whole place has all the amenities you can think of and then some. Easy access to some incredible hikes and beautiful views out the back. I would recommend this to any family or friend and hope to stay here again!!!”

“It was definitely built for a different era. But what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in necessities. The room has a small fridge and a microwave oven. It's a place to crash for the night. There's no work space, not even a phone to call the front desk. If you're picky and want room service this place is not for you. If you're looking for a reasonable room for a reasonable rate then yeah. You're like me. It serves its function well.”

Staff and management are great...dont be ignorant...then you'll have a good seat in the grass field to watch a great Pixar movie in the summer time.”

“Avalon Mobile home estates Park is not half bad. I think it's in a pretty good location 😉 there's a school around the corner and a small supermarket called sail. About a 15-minute walk to the closest bus stop. This is no joke... It's about a 15-20 minute walk from three separate types of churches. An Adventist, Catholic, and I think a Lutheran maybe Baptist Church. The Mobile home estates Park itself seems to be well maintained.”

Bluff Mesa Group Camp

Address: Mill Creek Rd, Angelus Oaks, CA 92305, USA

“Nice secluded campsite, very scenic and plenty of room for the whole family or group to spread out. The road up is rough, so you should probably be driving an SUV or truck to get here. Four Stars instead of Five because the toilet on site was overdue to be pumped out, so it was quite "ripe". Bummed that no campfires or charcoal were allowed (late July) but I understand. Also, three large bear boxes were provided, so evidently somebody was listening to Mr. Chen's review”

“My hubby and I stayed last weekend. We explored the Big Bear Village. Had a great lunch in town. Then, set off to our cozy studio. It was perfect. We stayed in #1 Sunday evening. We loved the big jacuzzi tub after a long day. Then, snuggled up to some great shows in bed on Netflix. Slept very well. I loved the kitchenette amenities as it was perfect for our short stay. Only thing missing was the coffee maker. Had all the coffee stuff. Just missed the coffee maker. Lol. Guessing perhaps it was borrowed to another cabin. No biggy though cause we had coffee in town at breakfast. I have recommended this place to people at work already. As the price was awesome for all it offered. Was the perfect romantic get away. Thank you Bear Manor.”

“Stayed at Noon Lodge in August 2022. Instantly fell in love with the lodge the moment we parked. I wanted to leave this review to thank Jesus the Manager of the property for making our stay perfect. He was very sweet and accommodating, working hard to make everyone's stay perfect. One item we were hoping for was the lake access from the property. Unfortunately there is no water at the dock on the property, the lake levels have been low. Looks to have water at the dock in the winter and early spring. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The fire pits are turned on every evening right before sunset with plenty of seating for all guests. There is music playing on the property until 10pm that adds to the ambiance. Quiet time begins at 10pm and fires are turned off. The pool is cleaned daily and kept at a refreshing temperature although there is no spa. There are two bikes that can be used. The rooms are very cute and clean. The bed is a firm queen size with four pillows. I prefer a softer bed so I did toss and turn but this is personal preference. There is no AC in the rooms, they do provide a fan. This was not an issue for us as the evening temperatures were in the low 50s. Our room did have a fire place, some rooms did not. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a dinner. One con we had was the shower was very small with low water pressure. Overall our stay was awesome! We are looking forward to returning! Thank you Jesus for making our new favorite lodge in Big Bear perfect!”

“Nice hotel, but I wasn't impressed with the service. The staff at the front desk wasn't that friendly. The room keys kept deactivating, so I had to go back and forth to the front desk to change them! If they know how many days a guest is staying, they should be able to avoid this situation. A guest staying more than one night doesn't want to have to keep going back and forth to the front desk to change their keys. This made me feel like they wanted me to hurry up and leave! The breakfast was decent, but the scrambled powdered eggs were bad!”

The manager was incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and hiking. I felt comfortable leaving my car there while out on a hike. I rarely give top ratings for a hotel, but this one truly exceeded my expectations. I plan to return in the future.”
