“We really like coming into this vet - the techs are all extremely kind and friendly and go out of their way to help, even just over the phone. Even though there isn’t currently a permanent vet, we’ve had really good care with the relief vets (and we appreciated that the one we’ve mainly seen is very current on research, diets, etc!). For regular care for mostly healthy pets, this is a great place to come! If you have an emergency or a pet with a serious condition who needs to be seen frequently and by the same vet each time, you’ll probably need to go down the hill — but for ordinary care, this is a great place where you’ll feel like your pet’s care and comfort (and your concerns, too) are prioritized. “A pretty great coffee house with a lot of options. They serve breakfast burritos as well. I enjoyed my oat milk latte and also the green tea. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is cozy and the store has a cool notice for Google reviewers up on the wall. They also have a “pay with a post-it” program where you can purchase a drink in advance for someone less fortunate. The person can take a post-it from the chalkboard and get a free drink. The only criticism I have for this place is the name of the corporation—“Beanery Corporation.” It just has a…distasteful ring to it because of its proximity to a certain derogatory term. Edit: The coffee shop has stated that “beanery” is an old, turn-of-the-century term meaning “cafe” or “cheap eats.””

“We booked this cabin through VRBO, and my extended family stayed here for 2 nights. The cabin slept 14, not 15, as the listing suggested. Room 1 had one queen bed and one full bed (4 people); room 2 had one queen bed and one king-or-two-twins trundle (4 people); room 3 had one king bed (2 people); room 4 had one king-or-two-twins trundle (2 people); and the living room had a sleeper sofa (2 people). 2 bathrooms for 15 people was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. The decor was classic woodsy cabin. The kitchen worked well, and was very well stocked, although we wished there was a table we could all sit around (the dining table only sat 8 comfortably). But the living space was very comfortable, wifi worked well, and we had a great time in this cabin.”

“Stayed at the Butterfield B&B for four nights and had an exceptional time. Dawn’s breakfast every morning was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with them after breakfast in the comfort of their cozy dining room. The common spaces were well kept and inviting, perfect for board games and a glass of wine. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable and tidy. “Stayed for the weekend with my partner. It rained so we didn’t get to use the deck or hot tub. But we are looking forward to coming back and using them next time. The property is beautiful and secluded. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners communicated excellently during the booking process and left clear directions how to get to the property as well as how to enjoy it. We also saw dozens of wild turkey, 3 deer and lots of different birds visiting the bird feeders right by the window to enjoy watching them while we snuggled on the love seat sipping our coffee. Aptly named the couples cabin. We can’t wait to come back.”
