“Working with the team at Old Fashioned Lumber was an excellent experience. We designed and made so many amazing pieces - each more unique than the next. They were able to work with the trees I had milled from my property up in Malibu that had burned down. They made a BBQ countertop, a huge wood table, a bar extension for my kitchen table, a swing, a door, a bench! Don, Zak and his team are all very passionate about what they do and you can see the pride of ownership in their work. I'm grateful to have so many beautiful pieces (aka show stoppers) with sentimental value in my new house.”

“Marble Works are great! Charlene the owner has been in business for 30 years and can answer/answered any question I had almost before I could ask. She knows all the details of remodeling and they helped us with a full-size tub surround that went from the top of tub to the ceiling. We also got the large soap/shampoo wall insert, which is poured with the walls to match exactly. Our walls were custom poured after we had determined wall sizes. EVERY wall is unique due to the fresh pour and they can customize exactly how much swirl you want. We wanted just a light swirl. Her install guys are true experts since they have been with her for decades. We get LOTS of compliments and couldn't be happier. Her rates are VERY reasonable. She was less than a large scale competitor in Santee.”
