“Stopped into this hidden treasure in Normal Heights to buy a birthday gift and boy did I fall in LOVE with EVERYTHING. The shop has a cute aray of colors and Lee whom I assume is the owner was so AMAZING!! She explained the desserts, the ingredients, and offered us a sample. Her personality and spirit were definitely what you expect, especially since when you look at the art work on the walls and the vibe of the store. She was PERFECT!! She engaged with my 8yr old who acts 60yrs old talking about unicorns. Lee was nice enough to place the items I purchased which were the Cacao Now, Mustang Bar, Key Lime Mini Hug Cake, Triple Berry Mini Hug Cake, in a custom bag and She tied a bow on the top. Since it was a birthday gift it was PERFECT. Upon leaving the store Lee gave us the punch card for when we return. My sister in law who's vegetarian ABSOULUTLEY LOVED her desserts and said she will be checking it out in the future. Thanks Lee for your recommendations and for being an overall SWEETHEART..People miss the concept of being human and nice. If your looking for AMAZING vegan, gluten free, desserts THIS IS THE PLACE. “All Vegan sauces and dishes, with the choice to add meat if you so please. The tofu is baked and comes out nice and hot. I have had nothing but Delicious, fresh, and healthy meals from Food of Joy. Alice has been so great to me ever since we met and her local and seasonally inspired menu has continued to impress me— that’s why I keep coming back for more! The southwest salad and the spring rolls are my favorites, but the tofu red curry and the pita pockets are phenomenal! Always check in every week for new additions— Chef Q has also brought some fresh, unique salads and entrees that are truly out of this world. I can’t wait to come back regularly for lunch once the office is back open.”

“This location is finally reopen after years of being shut down! Completely redone and makes the neighborhood look modernized. There are two lines to order and they have the full menu. Food all tastes fresh and the line moves quickly. Parking lot is a bit tight and with the drive thru lines presents a bit of a problem to get in and out of the lot. There is a walk up ordering counter option too if you're not interested in sitting in the drive thru.”

“Randomly stopped into Pachamama and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll admit, when my husband and I first walked in we thought “oh great, another hipster place that will have overpriced ‘meh’ food.” We we’re WRONG! The food is delicious. The staff is friendly- especially Mercedes who stopped at our table to tell us all about the owner and the inspiration for the place. Apparently the owner owns the farm where some of the food is grown! The owner seems like a generous women. Dog treats support the local humane society and kids can plant seeds and take them home! Love this place!!!”

“Pretty good food. Went in for there special the $2.99 bean and cheese burrito. Pretty good size for the price. The beans were seasoned really well and authentic with plenty of cheese. Also got the potato flat tacos, potato had nice seasoning but I felt like it lack something. But I can’t complain they were delicious. The customer services was great and the food came out pretty quick. Will definitely return.”
