“I can't say enough good things about Michael and his practice. I first found michael after a surgery on my proximal humerus. He helped immensely with bringing the swelling down, breaking up the scar tissue, and pain. Three years ago, I went back and saw him for my first pregnancy. I had preterm labor, and through herbs and acupuncture, he helped carry me through to 42 weeks. At 41 weeks, I went back to see him twice to help induce labor. The acupuncture helped greatly with inducing labor and assisting with my 7 hour start to finish labor. I am now seeing him again at 35 weeks pregnant to slow down my pre term labor contractions and ensure a smooth labor! Thanks Michael for everything!”

“I cannot say enough good things about counterstrain or this practice! I have a genetic condition that causes many, many issues with things like my joints, posture, gait, muscle spasms, inflammation, and instability in the spine. Traditional physical therapy was barely helpful, and other techniques like craniosacral therapy can't compare at all to the counterstrain technique. My entire body has changed since starting to see Mark at this practice. My posture is better, it's easier to breathe, I walk more naturally. And this all happened within a few sessions. I was actually shocked. It has been amazing and life altering. Counterstrain can even help with things like digestion, lymphatic drainage, and inflammation. I am beginning to wonder what it can't do! “Overall I loved my stay here, it was very peaceful and rejuvenating. It was like staying in a rustic desert inn with spa features. I wound up getting a Casita with a private jacuzzi, which was so nice! I loved having it all to myself and it was very privately walled off from other guests. It was about 120 degrees f outside so it was literally like being in a sauna, so I had the heat turned off but I still loved it. Because it's so hot the resort is mostly empty this time of year. I also had the main pool to myself at night. I got a hot and cold stone massage which was divine, and the restaurant food was very good. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though it was definitely rustic and dated in design. Plus there were a couple big dead bugs in it. Great water pressure in the shower though! The restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner, but they have a little store that stays open so you can get food there any time. The resort is in the middle of nowhere so I didn't try leaving the resort to get lunch. Because it was the off season for this location it was affordable and overall really good value for the money.”
