“We took a walk down the beach and started the get hungry. This place was awesome! I had the Papa Burger add Bacon and Swiss and we also got the full order of Truffle Fries. They were SOOO GOOD! The fries were nice and crispy, with melted cheese on top. The Papa Burger was seasoned BEAUTIFULLY! I like my burgers a little pink, which is the way it come out. It eats like ground sirloin, so there is no problem with a med-rare burger. If you don't like any pink though, I would make sure to tell them when you're placing your order. The place is also super reasonable, price wise. Two great sized burgers, one with a side salad, and the fries only came to $39. This place is like 5 blocks from the beach, so I was expecting to pay more. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here, and recommending it to anyone I know coming to San Francisco!!”

“Appetizers 1. Pot stickers - Deep fried, consistent with what I remember. 2. Shrimp and leek dumplings - If you don't eat within 30 minutes from pickup, steam at home. 3. Sizzling rice soup, medium - Very impressive for takeout. Reheat the soup and pour over crispy rice in separate paper box. Mains 4. Original dry fried chicken wings - Their staple and signature, good hot, warm, or cold. You'll be licking every last drop of the sauce. 5. Garlic chicken - My dad's favorite, this is a great rice or noodle accompaniment. Boneless chunks of chicken with peanuts in a garlicky sauce. 6. Dried sauteed string beans - Another standard, this was different from what I remember. The chef had a heavy hand on the ginger which overwhelmed the garlic flavor. Still, it's a nice topping on rice. With limited stomach space, I also craved two other favorites which I had later in the week. 1. Hot and sour soup - Flavors were just as I remember though the shrimp pieces seemed more minced and amount slightly less. 2. Noodles with peanut sauce - This is one of my absolute FAVORITE noodle dish and, with So on Bryant closed, my first taste since then. Love the variety seafood and the sauce which held up well especially since I ate this about five to six days later. The shrimp and scallops were tasty and, again, the sauce made me use my finger to lick every last drop! *** Reminder - Do NOT try to walk up and order as only phone orders are accepted as of this update.”
