“So nice to have found this place, sure to return! The chicken was on point, the creams al gusto, the sides fresh, quality, and ample. The service so sweet, the atmosphere different and interesting. Fully recommend it, from someone who spent 2 weeks in LA going to 4 different 🇵🇪 Peruvian chicken places to be greeted by average food and service. “I could talk about the service, or the various amazing sandwich options, or their proximity to San Mateo and walkable status. All of these things are great about Ike's. But I won't talk about that. I want to talk about feelings. That feeling of driving over the speed limit for the first time. Witnessing a baby seagull steal a piece of trash. Flipping the tongue of your shoe so it's flat against your foot after walking with it all folded wrong for a bit. These all pale in comparison to the emotional ride you're in for when the Matt Cain sandwich from Ike's slams into your tongue. The highs. The lows. Actually there aren't lows. It's all highs. Just higher and higher highs. Seriously. Get the Matt Cain.”
