“A small dog park but is pretty well maintained. It has decent amount of seating and a picnic table. No shade though, so summer time would be a torture.”

“What a beautiful place. A piece of heaven in the middle of the city. It must be a mile square. Just flat land with some buildings. So different than everything about it. You can get lost in nature. They might charge you $6.00 to get in... it still be worth it.”

“Great place for a 3yr old! There are 2 play areas - one for bigger kids (has more complex play structures), and a much easier, fenced-in play structure for the smaller ones.”

“Great place to be year round, but this review must be prefaced by the fact that its $5 to park per vehicle. They take cash and credit. This park is huge, with flat fields for sports, woods and trails for hiking and running, sites for both camping and picnics. There is plenty of parking regardless of the activity. Throughout the year many events are hosted here, including road races in the winter. There are both primitive and modern facilities for restrooms and drinking water throughout the park. It's great to have a park like this so close to home.”

“It's a pleasant place for a morning or evening walk, but I avoid it after dark (afraid the wild pigs will get me). Is there any signage left about life cycles? I don't but there's an excellent old oak tree.”

“Love this park for my 2 year old”

“I really like this trail for cycling, though it is somewhat piecemeal in its layout and you are likely to get your butt wet. The headwinds can be frustrating. There are one or two alternate routes that can make the trip more interesting when repeated numerous times. It is rarely very busy.”

“It's a beautiful place if you want to go on a hike. I love it. But it's better to go in the early morning. Or late evening around 6 or so. To hot in the midday. I highly recommend this place.”

“I come here with my son at least 4 times a week. It's got great playgrounds that are maintained regularly. The few times that they've been vandalized they've been cleaned up almost within 3 days. I've met some great people here. Your child should be running here along side my little monkey.”

“Circling the park where this in held is a jogging/ walking path great for light cardio activities. The UCCE Master Gardeners seem to be able to talk directly to Mother Nature and were given the secrets. I promise you will fall in love with everything.. it all grows on you while you are there.”

“Really great park to bring your kids, or just to hang out there. They have a nice seating area with tables which is nicely shaded, and then they have playgrounds for all sorts of ages. The tennis and basketball courts are really great as well, just make sure to use the restroom beforehand as the ones here aren't the greatest.”
