“By far the best gym I’ve ever been too. From the personal attention from the owners and the people makes it feel like a second home. If you pick this gym, not only will you improve physically, but I’d argue you’d improve mentally as well. You gotta see it to believe it. 6/5 stars, this ain’t just a gym, it is Thee Contenders Gym”

“I have taken kickboxing classes at two other gyms and Kim one of the best instructors I have had. She gives great instructions, watches everyone and corrects people when needed. She's tough, but motivating. They have both Zoom and onsite class options. It was my first time taking a Zoom workout and it went really well. I highly recommend Santa Clara Cardio Kickboxing.”

“Great place to learn pilates. I did the try out class and loved it so, continue to take classes. The instructor is nice and passionate. Great for postnatal exercise ! Now it has been 4months that I am doing pilates. I feel healthier and my body is much more relaxed. I suffered from cervical neck pain but I feel like it is healing little by little. The instructor is attentive to your body condition and explains well how the exercise is good for the specific muscles. I recommend this place for the people who have pain because of bad posture or want to have a healthier life.”

“This gym is definitely popular because it is a new location. It was nice to go to in the morning before 7am but its getting busier and busier. It's a nice gym, lots of equipment, parking can be hit or miss, staff is friendly. One thing I wish they would change; there are racks of free weights near the benches, but if the benches are taken there is little to no room to use the free weights. You have to cart them across the gym or block the walk ways.”

“It is VERY hard to find a Hapkido studio in the bay area, much less a good one. Grandmaster Charles Hwang is one of the kindest and most patient instructors I've ever met. He is also very intelligent. I'd dare to say he's overqualified to teach as he directly studied under Young Sul Choi who was the founder of Hapkido. Having a PhD in Oriental Medicine, he is able to teach the pressure points and inner knowledge of Hapkido needed, combining the techniques with knowledge of health, as it was taught in the past.”

“I have been training at Accessible Fitness for more than 6 months. I love working with both Judy and Paul. They focus not only on working out, but also stability, core balance and nutrition. Every time I've stepped out of the gym I've felt maxed out and pumped up. I have seen a transformation in myself from where I started and where I am, not only in my body structure, muscle tone but my strength as well. The gym is nice and clean with all the equipments you would ever need. I'm glad I decided to join Accessible Fitness.”

“BMI Fitness is a great gym. Really low-key and casual which I love. There is none of this crowded high-stress feeling that I get from other gyms. And everything is CLEAN. There is water, fresh fruit, small snacks, towels and the bathrooms are stocked with the items you might need and have forgotten to bring with you. I love Amy’s spin concert class. I have been taking spin classes in the area for the last decade and her classes are really good! I also started personal training with David and he’s fantastic. I have a goal on what I want to accomplish in 2018 and he’s definitely going to help me get there. He’s also the type of trainer who pays attention and has pointed out some things to me to help me with getting stronger. I love this because I’ve had personal trainers before who are focused on making me sweat, but I was doing the exercise incorrectly.”

“I have been working out with Stephen for almost seven years now, typically 2-3 times per week. He is positive and upbeat. I highly recommend Stephen. His workouts are never the same, keeping it interesting and fresh. Even after almost 7 years, he continues to amaze me with the introduction of new exercises & variations. The workouts are well thought out, targeting different areas each session. His Boot Camps are just as fun. With COVID-19, my wife & I have signed up for his virtual workout sessions. I can’t believe how much he can get our blood pumping in 25 minutes! Stephen is not demanding or pushy at all; rather he has a unique way of encouraging me to reach my limits and achieve my goals in very subtle ways. Stephen has been an incredibly bright light for me in helping to obtain my fitness. Five Plus Stars!”

“It doesn't look that big in the photos but there's a good amount of bouldering space tucked away in all the nooks. Lots of various incline features though you can't top out here. Taller walls than PG Sunnyvale. There's even an area for children to learn to boulder. Great place to train!”

“Weekends are great but week days commuters fill the parking lot and amenities to keep from sitting in traffic. They get a workout in and a shower and leave after the carpool lane ends. There are more members than there were before covid. There are about twenty empty parking stalls.”

“The location and workers are awesome. All the trainers are very helpful even if you don't have a personal trainer. After each usage, all the equipment is washed and sanitized. The environment and music made me feel passionate. I have shaped my body here. The service was extraordinary. Service five-star!”

“Terrific boxing gym with serious instructors that can help if you’re interested in amateur competition or in working out. Arturo is a great guy and pays close attention to his students’ needs. Keep in mind that classes can get busy and there are students of all different skill levels. Arturo will provide personal attention but to truly learn the sport, you need private training or to join the fight team. He’s a pro fighter with a great record and a great demeanor—the gym’s culture comes from his positivity. Easily one of my favorite places in the whole of the Bay Area. A note for beginners: proper footwork and punching technique are the most essential components of boxing and when you’re starting out, they’re both difficult and tedious. It takes a while to truly learn how to throw a punch and how to hit the heavy bag let alone how to spar. Give it time, past those first few sessions. And if classes seem tedious, try starting out with a couple private lessons.”

“Love this place! Staff is welcoming and you're guaranteed to get an excellent workout. The 7x7 class is my fav and one of the most dynamic strength workouts. I've only taken it with Melissa, the owner, because I love her training style so much. Melissa and her playlists will motivate you despite the fact that your quads are burning and your legs and lungs just might give up.”

“I'm new to the world of tricking and Loopkicks has been an amazing way to start! Each class starts with a group warmup. Then we move on to learning or improving some skill/trick. Since there are different skill levels, each coach will work with a different group so it always feels like you are learning something without being overwhelmed. Mark, Nevin, Dandy, and Everett are great coaches who are not only skilled but good at breaking down the moves and helping you work on progression. It's a very safe and supportive environment thanks to the instructors and other students! There is plenty of space and equipment around to train safely which is also important. Overall a great place to learn tricking!”

“I have tried various other yoga and breathing techniques, but what I loved about Art of Living program is the follow up structure to help participants continue with their practice. Their weekly follow up's are free and easily accessible in all major cities. I have been visiting this place since 2007 for weekly follow ups, usually over weekends. These sessions at the center helps me calm down and refreshed for next week. For past many years, I have immensely benefited from the activities at this center. One improvement, I would love to see is some programs during weekdays (daytime). That will help homemakers and people like my parents visiting us to keep themselves fit and busy.”

“Just posting because the reviews here aren't reflective of the studio and I feel bad for 'em. I had issues getting in when I first signed up then realized I couldn't just book it when I felt like it but had to plan my workouts (which, is a good thing). Never had an issue getting a class after that. Even if I'm #11 in a queue people start dropping real quick the day before and I've always gotten in. A lot of people just max out their bookings and then drop the class they don't want to attend the night before, seems to be standard practice at all OTFs. Play the game or sit on the outside looking in but don't complain because you don't understand - the queue system is accomplishing exactly what it's supposed to. Lot of these people also not mentioning the 'overbooked' part is because any OT member can go to any OT location, I'm sure a lot of people are going to this one now as well even though their registered location is elsewhere. I'm not sure what the studio manager is supposed to address? "business is too good, what a great location we picked!" The reason they weren't doing 3G's was because they weren't on the global workout plan as it was a new location and needed the members to be 'spun up' before hitting the gas. Space is adequately fine, never had any issues working out on the tread, rower or floor. Never had an issue with the staff either, always been super friendly and fun. Even let me store my motorcycle gear in their back office sometimes when all the lockers are full. Do I want more space? Yes. Have I ever had to modify my workout based on space constraints? No. I've also been a few minutes late and seen other people a few minutes late and I've always gotten in, not sure what this 'one second late' complaint is, never happened. Just get there before the warmup is over or just ya know...be there on time and not worry about it.”
