“If you have not tried halal meats before, you are really missing out. This is the best lamb and goat in the area. With halal meats, the animal is drained of blood when killed (throat is slit). This keeps the meats much fresher and tender. They are also free range animals and antibiotic free. They do not advertise this, as it is part of what it means to sell 'halal.' Halal means the animals have to be bred and slaughtered strictly in this way. I was raised on this type of meats, and I just can't stomach the lamb in the normal grocer sitting in the blood. Baraka is the best, service is also excellent!”
