(February 23, 2020, 7:06 pm)This was our first ti.e camping here. There are 3 different types of campsites: regular, premium, RV hookup. We went with the regular site for $35. It wasnt bad.
We had to move the wooden picnic table so our tent could fit on the grassy area and not on the concrete driveway.. so that's a negative.
We got to hear the ocean all day/night long!!
(January 9, 2020, 9:41 pm)It is a beautiful campground. Lots of sites for all campers from RV's to tents. Clean restrooms. Clesn sites. Walking path to the beach.
(August 20, 2019, 8:48 pm)This place is gorgeous. Spots are big enough to where you don't feel like you are camping in a subdivision. Would give them 5 stars, but one of the volunteers that staff the gate was rude enough to my girlfriend (outside my presence) that I was sorely tempted to go have a discussion about customer service with him. Also, would not want to have a dog here. Massive hedges of poison oak everywhere (see pic)
(August 9, 2019, 10:59 am)Great beach to take your family out. Can be a bit crowded so get there earlier in the day. Good restrooms and a fountain where you can rinse the sand and saltwater off.
(April 1, 2019, 4:11 pm)A great beach away from the tourist crowd. It is also generally warmer the the other beaches because it is sheltered from the wind. You can take a long walk with your dog all the way down to shipwreck.
