“35$ a night typical camping rates. Close to nearly private beaches. We got here late, around 1:30 on a Saturday and there was still around 10 spots to choose from. There's clean flushing toilets and hot showers for 50 cents for 2 minutes. So far so good. There's a ton of dumpsters close by so for us, that was a plus. No bugs or scary wildlife to worry about. The neighbors were friendly and all felt safe. Overall, I really liked this campground. Mostly it was because of how clean the bathrooms were. They get a daily cleaning at around 6am and smell like bleach. Only thing that was a negative was there was no water spickets to get washing water for dishes. Otherwise a very cool place to camp.”

“The Mandalay beach area is a nice area for enjoying a day at the beach. The area has a lot of parking and a lot of space. There is a short 10 minute walk between the park and the beach. Mandalay Beach is a beautiful stretch of beach facing the Channel Islands. It is rarely crowded and offers a beautiful beach walk around the beach and the neighboring Embassy Suites. Not much in the way of facilities however.”

“Great area, from the playground to the water. Great long park with a ton of grass, and plenty of sand to the water too. The area reminds me of BuenaVentura Beach with the small hills to go over from the parking lot to the water. They have a concrete pathway that leads you all the way to a good depth into the beach sand. Between the sand hills there are spots you can stay in that are a tiny bit secluded and slanted too.”

“Great place. But we know this as the "kiddie beach" The reason for the name is because there are no waves due to the rocks on either side breaking the Waves. Great place to bring your kids however it can get packed during warm weather. There are also showers on the side. this beach can get pretty packed compared to the other side of the rocks which is silverstrand Beach.”

“This place gave me lots of memories when I was a kid. The playground and walking around is very good if you ask me. The only thing I don’t like is the really dirty bathrooms. Overall, this is a good park.”

“I was suddenly saddled with five kids and didn't know what to do with them. I took them to the park and they had a great time. The park was clean well-kept well-organized and there were no problems with the kids running around. kids and didn't know what to do with them. It was also nice that there were no inappropriate people in the area as well, I should also know that it is close enough to the shopping center for the kids to get a snack or two while they were having fun.”

“Great open green park except for the the crazy man who yells and terrorizes people by kicking over all the trash cans and throwing things at people. Dresses all black clothes always the same clothes. Pretty sure he lives in the park along with a hand full of other people. Other than that it's a beautiful place to take your kids or dog. 2 baseball fields and a basketball court”
