“I am so happy that this store opened near me. This is by far my ultimate favorite cookie place. Every single week its always a brand new menu plus I also love the fact that they have mystery cookie every week as well. Almost everything is my favorite. Peanut Butter Brownie, Banana Cake, White Chocolate Macadamia, Cookies and Cream, and more. The staff here are absolutely delightful and very friendly. It is a bit extreme but if not once, I do come twice a week 😅 I always get the Six Pack and I highly recommend to download the Crumble App for points.”

“Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.”

“I had ordered a custom Hennessy cake for my friend's birthday. They do ask you to provide a sample photo for the order. The baker did a fantastic job creating this cake! It looks absolutely amazing!! Definitely exceeded all expectations. It was a peanut butter frosting and chocolate cake combo. And the taste was just as good if not better. It was the right amount of frosting and sweetness and tasted delicious. The staff is also extremely friendly! The baker David personally came to chat with me and get feedback on the design of the cake. It is also reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place!”

“Not feeling good today, and all I wanted was a really good sandwich. Mission accomplished. We recently moved to Hemet and have yet to find favorites when it comes to food establishments, Downtown Deli definitely made my list. I ordered the Turkey BLT Avocado and Cheese with a side of potato salad, my daughter ordered a classic BLT with Avocado. The total was almost $40, so I was a little shocked at that and thought, this sandwich better be worth it. It was!! It was about a 15 minute wait before our order was ready and we were on our way home. I was actually really excited to open up the takeout box and get a look at this sandwich. Let me tell you, the sandwiches are HUGE! The first bite was full of just absolutely great flavor, honestly the BEST sandwich I've ever had!! The blend of salt, pepper, and oregano mixed with the avocado and fresh produce was just so freaking good. The potato salad was almost as good as my mamas and that says ALOT! It was just really so good. I thought 15 minutes was a long wait, but now I get it. These sandwiches are made with love and pride and you can taste it. During those 15 minutes I took some time to learn about the owner of the Deli, Stephen. I had to hold back tears after learning about how involved he was with his community and how loved he was by the community. He passed in 2019 and I'm just really happy that his legacy is being carried on. He would be so proud of the great job you are all doing at Downtown Deli, such a welcoming atmosphere, built with love for sure. I highly, highly recommend Downtown Deli.”

“Honestly, best panadería in the IE. I grew up in LA and had my fair share of pan. This pan is hands down the best I’ve had out here. If you need a Rosca for Día de Reyes, I strongly recommend placing an order for one of theirs!! I like the one that comes cream filled! But I’ve had the traditional one, and that’s good too! I used to hate roscas because I thought they had to be dry and sticky. But theirs are so good. So moist. And fresh. I love it. Skip the trip to the grocery store. Order their batches of concha’s for your next party, office meeting, coffee date, etc.”
