It's where Maverick had his dinner date with Charlie in the first TOPGUN. The shop sells hand pies and flavors may vary with the season. My faves are lemon, peach, and apple. They also have lots of movie photos on display and sell very cool pins, if you like to collect such items. The location is beautiful, as it sits across the pier and ocean in Oceanside.”

“This is a cute place I've been coming here for a number of years. Today I came in to get me and my grandmother a sandwich. I spent $30.00 for 2 small sandwiches. That's very expensive considering they aren't very large. Don't get me wrong the food is good here and the sourdough is great. But the prices are way too high for the amount of food you get. Can't really afford to come here anymore which is a bummer. The staff seemed annoyed because I got there 30 minutes before closing. But I got all the food to go so it wasn't like I was eating there. If you do decide to come visit the pastrami is good and also the turkey cranberry.”

Tried the macarons, which are great, but the cakes they have here are superb. The missus loves the mirror glaze cakes, and I can attest that they are truly decadent. The store front hours might be kind of odd so calling first would be your best bet. Lately they have added a vending machine so if you have a craving for anything that is not a full sized cake you can get it 24/7. If you aren't always around this area you might want to ask them who they have contracts with. We once picked up a cake from Roqc (though it didn't explicitly have their name, the baker knew where it came from) from a Whole Foods off Green Valley in Henderson, NV.”

And there is seating inside to eat. Then they sell individual Mexican jello, flan, and 3 milks cake. So great 5.99 meal and a 1.99 dessert. Wallla, if the store had a Fresh Smell I would give 5 stars. Everything and Everone is great yet there is a strange musty smell somewhere inside. Definitely not something that management cannot invest in to fix. Then the store would definitely bring in more paying customers.”
