In the times after covid, people don't seem to want to interact with each other anymore - so imagine my surprise when I got the best customer service at this delightful little Ace hardware! It's a bit of a drive for me so I called first to make sure they had the item I wanted on hand, and the young man working there not only checked he had it waiting for me when I arrived. Very respectful very nice - very refreshing! The store looks deceptively small from the outside, but it is huge inside and they have EVERYTHING! Even though it's a bit out of my way, I will definitely come back to this location for the products, and for the nice folks who work there!”

“It is impressive how many people are here from San Francisco and Daly city. I met a few people here while waiting in the checkout line. It is unfortunate that there is not a single Wal Mart supercenter in San Francisco area. This is perhaps one of the reasons why there is so much car traffic between San Francisco and East Bay. It seems there is no problem to have Target, Kohl's or Costco in San Francisco area but not Wal Mart. And, it costs money to get here and pay a bridge toll. I am glad the authorities of Union City, CA recognize the importance of this Department Store in the lives of the average people. In San Francisco, it seems they don't. Perhaps, when the next election occurs in San Francisco, we need to ask candidates if they are ok to allow Wal-Mart to open. Finally, this Wal-Mart is very good. It seems very huge. Everything i wanted i found here for a reasonable price. I could not find what i needed in Target store near San Bruno, CA.”
