“This vet clinic is absolutely amazing! We had to put our dog down recently due to some issues he was having with an autoimmune issue as a puppy. They treated him for this as well and he was able to live a longer life but it already affected this joints and back so much. The staff showed so much compassion to me and my dad as we put him to sleep and gave us as much time as we needed. “I had to bring my kitty on a Sunday for an emergency visit. I live in Citrus Heights and every single place I called closer to my house had a minimum 3 hour wait. I called Insight and they said at the time it was an hour wait, which was fantastic bc I also had my 3 kids with me. The office is modern and very, very clean with a large waiting area. The office staff was very friendly and professional. Within 20 minutes of arriving, a tech came to the waiting area, asked me the important questions, and took my kitty to see the vet. The vet came out shortly, explained what was going on with her and the typical tests done for this, but since he had a good idea of what the problem was and it was a first for her, he suggested the least costly option which I very much appreciated. He had an amazing bedside manner and is clearly a cat person! I was so impressed with this place that I filled out the paperwork to become a patient there for all my cats (I have 4).”

“Heaven sent. Prior to conimg here and after having my regular veterinarian flake out on me. Had my litter of 4 female malinois there for all 4 visits. They haven't returned my calls and have a sign that reads no walk-ins on their doors. Prestige Animal Hospital in South Fontana no longer had my business. I was referred to Walnut Village Pet Hospital and they took me in the very next day as I had called within 30 minutes of closing. The next day my appointment went well, had my exam and lab work for spaying, umbilical hernia removal and microchip. A week after my initial consultation my 8 month old girl had the best care. Follow up was much appreciated and I was kept on the loop at all times. Absolutely wonderful vet and staff. Can't say enough about the great quality care we received.”

“Dr. Lauro took in my girl, Cobalt, last year after a mass on her lower back jaw was found. It was fortunate that she had a cancellation on that day and was able to get Cobalt into surgery same day. Unfortunately it came back as bone cancer, and about three weeks later Cobalt had to be put down. Cobalts sister, Opal has seen her 13th birthday thanks to Dr. Lauro. The Doctor is consistently available to answer questions, usually within 24 hours of leaving her a message. The hospital does a great job of communicating with Opal’s cardiologist, and has even been kind enough to help with her heart medications through a donation; something I did not request but greatly appreciate. The staff have always been kind, the facilities have always been clean, and all three Veterinarians my dogs have seen there have been thorough and knowledgeable. Opal and Cobalt were first seen at this hospital when they were 12 weeks old, and the hospital has been with them in care for the duration of their lives. I hope everyone there knows they are appreciated. The veterinary field is stressful, and has been especially hard since the pandemic; as many people bought pets as companions during lockdown. I’ve been a dog owner for about 34 years now and cannot think of any complaints around their services and care of my animals. Myself and my family feel very fortunate to have found them.”
