“This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel and both times it's been great! This was our stop for the night on our drive from Phoenix to Chicago. The hotel is quiet and safe while still being pretty close to the highway. Staff is always very friendly. The shower is hot with good water pressure. The bed isn't the most comfortable I've slept on, but definitely adequate. Theres also a ton of areas to charge electronics. We'll stay here again on our next drive-through.”

“Generally, I do not write a review, but how will others know about my stay at Homewood at Boulder, CO. I have been traveling lately with my spouse and have been at several hotel locations; this was the best stay so far. What made the stay awesome was the team's friendliness: Lola, Cindy, and Cass. They go beyond their job responsibilities to make sure the tenants are satisfied. You can feel the family-oriented among them, and that's hard to find! I hope they will be there upon my return.”

“Dining at the Gold Hill is a great old Boulder tradition. The Gold Hill is an all around great experience- food, atmosphere, people, the town. We love it so much we had our wedding reception here. We eat here regularly as well. The owners and staff are kind, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is uniquely historic and the town is authentica Western mining. The service is quick and responsive. The food is great, varied and filling. This is a place you will want to savor and linger in. I highly recommend spending an evening here!”

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at The Gold Hill Inn w/ 30 guests. I worked w/ Brian Finn 100% remotely via email as I live in Vermont. From the beginning, Brian made the entire booking and planning process a breeze. We wanted our guests to have the same experience we have had at the GHI and opted to just have our guests partake in the 6-course meal normally served. The kitchen accommodated dietary needs and allergies of our group beautifully. Guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the food and the atmosphere! We were fortunate to have our party there the same night a terrific band was playing so we ended our night with drinking and dancing. We also booked The Bluebird Lodge for our wedding party. The lodge was huge and worked great for our party of 16. (Accommodates 18) Every morning we were greeted by a delicious yet simple breakfast (included w/ stay) of homemade bread and/or baked goods as well as fresh fruit, homemade jams, and really good coffee and tea. All the comforts of home are provided. The rooms were the perfect size, beds comfortable, linens and towels were also provided. Our group made use of the back-porch area as well as the kitchen. There are large sitting/living rooms as well. The pricing for both the rehearsal dinner and the lodge was extremely reasonable! The staff was kind and reliable. I highly recommend The Bluebird Lodge and the Gold Hill Inn for any event or just a nice evening out.”

“What a terrific place to stay!! The nicest people and a great location!!! We were treated so well by the staff and ownership. Why stay at some chain hotel when you can support two local guys trying their best to make a go of it?? Sure, it has its rough edges here and there but, we will definitely stay here again. Awesome coffee was a bonus. Love this place!!”

“Super friendly and caring staff, made sure to take good care of their guests. The rooms are a bit dated but the whole building is and that really adds to the charm. The entrance could be a little better marked but overall it was a very nice experience!”

“The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast and night-time freshly baked cookies were complimentary. The hotel is environmentally oriented which for the most part is great. The only negative would be that the water pressure and overall output in the shower was low, and the water didn’t get as scolding hot as I usually prefer. It could have just been our room though. Other than that minor detail, we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again!”
