“I have lived in the area for just over 3 years. I would normally stop at Einstein's, Loaf & Jug, Maverick, or any one of the other coffee shops nearby, first thing in the morning. However, over the last several months, I have only come to Maverick for my morning coffee. There is a young man that works there named Griffin. The first time I saw him at the store, he was very friendly and we chatted for maybe a minute or so - just small chit-chat, since there were no customers behind me. The next time I was in the store, he remembered me and greeted me like he knew me. So I introduced myself and he told me his name. I have started going to Maverick every morning for coffee, because I know someone is there that is going to be friendly. That sounds mighty 'needy' of me. LOL But it's true. First thing in the morning, before I have had a cup, it is nice to go somewhere I know I am going to feel 'at home' because of the friendly clerks. Both Doug and Spencer, now also greet me by name every morning. All 3 young men are great people and I was hoping they might get acknowledged for their good job. I think it would go a long ways, if all clerks learned to recognize regular customers, and greet them the way Griffin and the others greet me. Sincerely, Danny”

“Wow, we were in the area and looking for a burger restaurant. Crave did not disappoint. They’ve got tons of unique craft burgers and all the classics. The Holy Guacamole Burger and the Drunken Onion burgers were awesome and so were the truffle fries and shakes. Great food, great service (thank you, Julie!), don’t miss this place if you’re in the mood for a burger.”

“I love this little local restaurant. The food in general is very good and the atmosphere is nice particularly when they have music. The staff are very nice as well. The one downfall is the desert and bread. Bread is always dry and stale and the baked goods are just not good. They should hire someone new to rework that aspect. Again, the other menu items we have had have been really good but dessert is a letdown. They could be Great if they remedy this!”

“I'd give these restaurants a five if they had a little cozier eating area. It never feels clean to me, although I'm sure it is. The sub sandwich is what it's about here. They have a great selection of hot sauces. Maybe even the best selection. If you want to find a hot sauce to add to your personal repertoire, you could start here!”
