Great place to stay. Location was perfect for downtown as well as National Park. Bed was comfortable. Unit was super clean and quiet. Brandon was so friendly and helpful. On our last morning a herd of about 100 Elk walked right through the property. So amazing. Would definitely stay here again!
We rented the Sundance unit for 5 days. It was clean and just adorable. It is conveniently located near downtown, the grocery store, gas station, plus every where you’ll want to go for RMNP is very close by. There were 3 little deer grazing out our kitchen window every morning. Since I messed up and didn’t realize there isn’t a full kitchen (lol-only a kitchenette) we fully utilized the gas grill that’s right outside the unit. Made for some fun memories! Plus the elk were bugling every evening which was so neat. The fire place and jet tub were very nice and made for a cozy evening after a beautiful day hiking. The bed was also very comfortable. Next time we might opt for a unit with a full kitchen just because we like to cook in. ;) also the owner was very responsive when I had a question.
Absolutely fantastic stay at The Rustic Acre! The Mummy Mountain Suite was very cozy and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus and welcome after a long day of hiking. Woke up to the sound of elk bugling in the front yard about 15 feet from the front door. I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone traveling to Estes Park.
We stayed 1 night in a cute and comfortable cabin. The host provided the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds are clean and orderly. The hosts are very friendly and love having dogs stay with their people. We'll be back the next time we stay in Estes Park.
We have spent two weeks in the Deer Mountain Loft every year since it was built. Before then we always used the Prospect Miner's Cabin. Either one is great. The Loft is very spacious and beautiful. It has a deck with a view of the Rockies to die for. We love to sit on that deck and play Scrabble and just let the sun go down behind the mountains. Brandon & Liz are great about making sure you have what you need, answering any questions, but then just generally allowing you to enjoy the solitude. For people who love the mountains, Estes Park is a little piece of heaven and Rustic Acre is a great place to park and enjoy it all!
