“PROS: We stayed in "D". It was just outside of town and that was great for us. We really enjoyed how close it was to the river and spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs located right by the river and on the deck. The layout was good. The beds were comfy. We had a problem with the toilet flushing the first night and it took about 2 1/2-3 hours for someone to come fix it, but when he showed up he fixed it very quickly so that was nice. CONS: The kitchen is not very well appointed. If you are used to staying in places that have a few extras in the cupboards, this one may surprise you. There was not enough silverware and we had to wash after every meal. You will need to bring everything you may need for your stay, including cooking oil, seasonings, etc. They supply the bare minimums. Dishwashing detergent and salt & pepper are all you will find here. Most of the jets in the hot tub did not work, but it seemed clean and the temperature was good. Probably the worst thing was the main floor shower. It was clean, but we could not figure out how to make the water come out of the shower head. I've stayed in many different places and have seen just about every kind of set up. We tried everything we could think of and could not get the water to come out of the shower head. It was pretty frustrating. The toaster burnt the very bottom 2 inches of toast while leaving the rest undercooked. I happened to notice one burner on the stove was still hot in the middle of the day after cooking with it first thing in the morning. When I tried to adjust the knob it immediately fell off and I realized it was not attach properly and was not positioned correctly. Meaning when it was pointing to off it was not actually off. I tried to fix it and it kept falling off every time I touched it. FINAL OPINION: Don't get me wrong, this place is still a good stay. It just needs a little TLC.”

“Our family recently stayed at the Koenig Lodge for a weekend. It is a beautiful location surrounded by trees and the Big Thompson River. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy even though it is large and sleeps about 24. There were I believe 3 gas fireplaces and beautiful furniture. There is a large kitchen with everything anyone would need, a large comfortable living room, and a fun recreation room downstairs. It was one of the most wonderful weekends we have had, and could be with our whole family.”

“If you are in the area, this is a must stop. This might be some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered the Detroit style pizza. It was amazing. The right amount of cheese and sauce in every bite. We also had the salad and garlic cheese bread which were also delicious. Despite the fact that you don’t have a primary waiter for your table (everyone just helps out), the service was very friendly and we were very well taken care off. I can’t wait to go back to this place!!!”

“I was on a solo trip and stayed 2 nights at the Trailborn for my Rocky Mountain National Park Hike. The place seems recently renovated and felt gen z in a good way. There were details in the room that were greatly appreciated for my hike. There was a trail guide book in the room that led to me changing my mind on which hike I went on. The people behind the desk were super kind and friendly, one even let me use the staff microwave for my dinner. The room was clean and I enjoyed the apothecary quality toiletries in the bathroom.”

“4/15/23- The event I was attending used the board room in the town hall as a panel room. It would have been nice if they would have removed things not needed in the room like the tables and the podium since they impacted peoples views of the speakers who were on the elevated part. Still it was nice and the technology worked so that the speakers could be heard.”

“Car Trouble on Vacation go to Casey's!!! They were amazing. I had two (yes two) doors that would not latch and close properly within 24 hours on my vacation. Another shop in town I called couldn't help me but told me Casey's was the place to call. Had me come right over so he could at least give it a look. In less than 1 minute had one door fixed so it at least would close and confirmed the other one needed a new part as I thought. And they were incredibly kind and have a beautiful dog too! An amazing family business. Thank you so much!!”

Thank you for being a phenomenal crew! You 3 are absolute all stars in my book. Any catering company that comes through our kitchen and leaves it better than what they found, automatically deserves five stars. That's not all though... They were eager to help in any way possible. Their attitudes STAYED positive throughout the whole event. I absolutely love this vendor and would HIGHLY recommend!!! The couple loved you guys too!!!!”

“First time visiting Estes Park. KEP Expeditions came highly recommended so we booked a tour. Garry picked us up at 9:00am sharp. The van was clean and comfortable. But, I haven’t even gotten to the best part. Garry!!! What a wonderful man, kind, polite and knowledgeable. He drove us through the RMNP and gave us the history of the picturesque town of Estes Park and all the history of RMNP. He pointed out the best places for photo ops and took lots of pictures of our family of 7. Garry brought us to all the places we probably wouldn’t have seen if we had just driven ourselves. “Met expectations. Ample hot water and a nice shower, nice fixtures and good pressure. Bed was comfy, pillows were fine. Continental breakfast is NOT free, costs $10. Staff was very nice. Restaurant where you check in is very good. Somewhat expanded selection of TV channels. Building a little run down but wasn't a big deal to us given the good price.”
