I was on a solo trip and stayed 2 nights at the Trailborn for my Rocky Mountain National Park Hike. The place seems recently renovated and felt gen z in a good way. There were details in the room that were greatly appreciated for my hike. There was a trail guide book in the room that led to me changing my mind on which hike I went on. The people behind the desk were super kind and friendly, one even let me use the staff microwave for my dinner. The room was clean and I enjoyed the apothecary quality toiletries in the bathroom.
We liked the location of this hotel, and our room was very clean and comfortable.
The rooms are obviously recently remodeled.
I have to mention that the morning continental breakfast is somewhat lacking with very few choices other than toast, cereal and yogurt. No vegan options or non-dairy options were available, other than bread and peanut butter and jelly.
There was no refrigerator or microwave in our room.
WiFi was good.
Overall, it was a good place to stay for one night, but it was not a great value considering that we paid $300 for the room and didn’t even get a good breakfast.
