“Our family recently stayed at the Koenig Lodge for a weekend. It is a beautiful location surrounded by trees and the Big Thompson River. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy even though it is large and sleeps about 24. There were I believe 3 gas fireplaces and beautiful furniture. There is a large kitchen with everything anyone would need, a large comfortable living room, and a fun recreation room downstairs. It was one of the most wonderful weekends we have had, and could be with our whole family.”

“I was on a solo trip and stayed 2 nights at the Trailborn for my Rocky Mountain National Park Hike. The place seems recently renovated and felt gen z in a good way. There were details in the room that were greatly appreciated for my hike. There was a trail guide book in the room that led to me changing my mind on which hike I went on. The people behind the desk were super kind and friendly, one even let me use the staff microwave for my dinner. The room was clean and I enjoyed the apothecary quality toiletries in the bathroom.”

“Met expectations. Ample hot water and a nice shower, nice fixtures and good pressure. Bed was comfy, pillows were fine. Continental breakfast is NOT free, costs $10. Staff was very nice. Restaurant where you check in is very good. Somewhat expanded selection of TV channels. Building a little run down but wasn't a big deal to us given the good price.”

“Had a queen room last week. Clean and tidy with comfortable bed and nice bedding. Room was a decent size with dresser and small closet to unpack if you like to do so. Bathroom with well equipped and good shower pressure. A/C worked well. Lobby stocked with extra towels, coffee and other supplies was very nice. Felt very safe.”

“It was absolutely beautiful, the cabin we stayed in was cozy. The views of the mountains were amazing. I would’ve given them a five except a few of the mini blinds covering the windows had missing pieces, and you could see inside of the cabin.”

“Beautiful well appointed cabin with everything you need. The cabin was super clean and had comfy beds. Outdoor spaces are lovely, especially when the elk are roaming by. It was so nice to be just a short drive to everything we wanted to do. Mountain village staff is very responsive if you have questions or concerns. We would definitely return and highly recommend!”

“Great place to stay. Location was perfect for downtown as well as National Park. Bed was comfortable. Unit was super clean and quiet. Brandon was so friendly and helpful. On our last morning a herd of about 100 Elk walked right through the property. So amazing. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Super cute and nice location just outside of downtown. Cabin number five with the high windows is especially nice and looks to be the only one with windows like that. There is some road noise, but it did not bother us but if you’re sensitive to that you may want to bring earplugs. Your parking area is five cabins down. Nice that it was set up for a bonfire but after the rain we weren’t able to have one as it was too wet. Hair dryer not provided. Clean and comfy!”

“This is a luxurious place for all the family to gather. The property is surrounded by forest and overlooks a lake. If you are lucky like us you might just see a herd of elk.”

“Awesome location. Gorgeous scenery. Extremely secluded, mainly because you must bushwhack to get there. It is about 7-8 miles one way and a grueling journey, especially if you don't know a good route. Contact me if you are thinking of going on this hike and I can give you some potential routes. This hike is NOT for beginners. You will need navigation equipment and must be in-shape. If you are good hiking 14ers you will probably be OK hiking this so long as you don't mind hiking 1500 ft elevation through steep forest while hopping 40% downed trees on the forest floor. There is a trail to Mt Ida following the continental divide but no trail to the north of the ridge.”

“The hotel is really nice. Robert and his staff are all nice and easy to talk to. Breakfast was nice as well. It is only 15 minutes drive from falls and did not cost as much as some of the other hotels next door. Also the location is close to lot of eating places and grocery places. It was quiet at night and was easy place to sleep at night. If you stay there ask Robert for recommendations and he will have few good ones. There was nothing negative I can think of, overall it delivered what was expected. Nothing out of the world but what to expect from a hotel stay.”

“Regarding the store near Telegraph and West in Brownstown. I needed a few specific automotive hose adapters to backflush the heater core in my daughter's 2011 Edge. I was undertaking a real red neck operation, and needed to connect two car hoses to garden hoses. And I found the 3/4 diameter adapters! Very happy! Then I needed radiator fluid and distilled water. They had the radiator but do not carry distilled water. Very sad! Therefore, four stars. Had to go to a grocery store for the water. I gave them 5 stars.”

“This place is amazing, you simply can’t beat the location. We picked it sight unseen when moving to Colorado and could not have been happier. Horsestooth Reservoir is hands down the most beautiful area of Fort Collins to live in. Since being in the area we have checked out some of the other local Rv parks and they seem ok but I’m confident that this is the best park you could pick. Aside from the amazing views, location and wildlife the real bonus here at this Rv park is the people, the other residents are all great but the staff is what makes this place great. Kimber, Clay, RJ and the rest of the crew are some of the best and most accommodating people you could hope for. We’ve been in this park about a year and a half, we are leaving only because our situation has changed but we plan to stop in and say hello anytime we’re back out in the area. We will truly miss this park.”
