“This place is amazing, you simply can’t beat the location. We picked it sight unseen when moving to Colorado and could not have been happier. Horsestooth Reservoir is hands down the most beautiful area of Fort Collins to live in. Since being in the area we have checked out some of the other local Rv parks and they seem ok but I’m confident that this is the best park you could pick. Aside from the amazing views, location and wildlife the real bonus here at this Rv park is the people, the other residents are all great but the staff is what makes this place great. Kimber, Clay, RJ and the rest of the crew are some of the best and most accommodating people you could hope for. We’ve been in this park about a year and a half, we are leaving only because our situation has changed but we plan to stop in and say hello anytime we’re back out in the area. We will truly miss this park.”

“My best friend has lived in this park for a long time. It is well maintained and managed. It has very good amenities such as a great playground, a community room and a wonderful swimming pool. The other half of the park Apple Ridge is a senior park. All the people that I have met who live here have been wonderful and kind. The have a "sense of community", watch over and take care of each other, which in this day and age is hard to find.”

“Not the worst trailer park I've lived in but they do now enforce the neighborhood rules. Don't move here unless you want neighbors that run a fire pit directly under your swamp cooler and keep you up with screaming until 4 in the morning as a regular habit.”

“Yes, about 2/3 of the park smells like sewage. Our site wasn’t affected though, so I’m not docking any stars. Hookups are good. Location is great. 5mph speed limit is strictly enforced, so be warned! Staff was wonderful and accommodating.”

“I have lived in Estes Park for six years and I am embarrassed to admit I have never been to Elk Meadow Lodge before. I had heard that it was groovy and special, but I had no idea how right those words were until recently. I highly endorse a visit now that I have spent a night cutting a rug with locals and campers and maiden voyagers on a vibrant dance floor over the Labor Day weekend. Further- the Lodge is historic. You will see the original architecture from another time. Everything about this place is charming- especially the service. You are well hosted when you pop in. And people from all over join you on the dance floor. I am thankful I finally had a Saturday night off to take my friend's advice.”

“Arrived on Friday afternoon in site 52 right on the river. We were greeted by a herd of elk in the river!! Beautiful site, close to town and RMNP. Friendly, clean but tight site. Lots of grass for doggies. Pricey. Did not use the showers as there was little privacy. On Saturday they had a breakfast for a donation and it was very good. Would love to go back another time.”

“My wife and I spent several days in Sept. 2019 at the Spruce Lake RV park in Estes Park Colorado. The facilities were great. The staff at the park were professional, pleasant, and eager to make our stay a good one. The elk made their presence known just across the river from the park.”

“We had a fantastic stay at this KOA, the owners were very friendly as well as the staff. Our kids enjoyed the playground, the toy cove, and the tractor ride with bubbles every night. We even had to borrow equipment to help us reach the water and outlets because ours wouldn’t, no additional charge. We rode horses next door to the KOA, walked across the street and went fishing at Estes Lake. Great location to the entrance of the Rocky Mt. National Park. We will definitely be back.”
