“The Stanley hotel and staff were amazing! My niece and I had been planning to attend the Shining Ball when she turned 21 since she was 16. She is a huge fan! “My wife and I chose Dunraven Inn for our post-wedding dinner on Wednesday night. After scouting all of the nicer looking restaurants on google maps, we thought we would give Dunraven Inn a try. The meal we had from here was incredible! They gave us a delicious sweet bread before the meal, and we had the new york strip steak and the lobster for our entree. The steak and lobster were insanely good- you should try them both. The sides all were good as well. We made reservations and were quickly seated. The service definitely exceeded expectations as well- the best server I can ever remember having, and we go to high end restaurants pretty often. I don't think we could go back to Estes Park and not eat here.”

“We had a lovely dinner at the Twin Owls! We have never been to Estes Park and had no idea where to get a nice meal. No complaints! The staff was friendly and attentive. They also seemed to work well together. We started with the Berries and Baked Brie. Seriously not to be missed! Sweet and savory with the perfect pastry crust. We then had a little meat fest. I ordered the duck and my husband the elk medallions. Both were so very good. If ever in the area it is a must stop!”

“Stopped in after some sightseeing based on reviews. Cute, quaint spot in Estes. We opted for the lunch menu. I got the turkey club, perfectly toasted bread, and good flavors all around. The pumpkin spice latte was delicious, we had to get one to go. My husband opted for the elk burger, tasted great, nice game-y flavor and cooked to the correct requested temperature. “The owner, John, is the perfect blend of easy going and hospitable, and runs a top-notch kitchen. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect, though that hardly seemed necessary with his incredible wait staff. Alan took care of us, and he was friendly and joked around with us, but never went too far so he could tell what we needed when we needed it. The food was phenomenal. The prime rib was suggested by a friend, and going for it I was not disappointed. Usually I like to eat a couple bites of each thing on my plate back and forth, but once I started on the meat my attention could not be swayed even to the baked potato piled high with goodies. This is a MUST STOP in Estes Park. A short drive from anywhere in town, and well worth it to get world-class service and food.”

“The Waterfront Grille was a lovely place to have a date night. The restaurant is very nice with great lake views! We we're there in May so the restaurant wasn't crowded and it was nice to have the place almost to ourselves. While we waited for our food we sat by the fireplace which was very cozy.
