“Beautiful site with a fire ring! The distance from the trailhead is deceptive because of the ever changing terrain.”

“There are two individual campsite here (7 people or under). Both campsites are great. Right outside of a beautiful swampy meadow. You can often see elk and deer in the meadow. The campsite is within range of some easier day hikes. There is a privy here shared by the two campsites.”

“Campground is very well maintained and the tent areas are nice and flat with a decent amount of room. Located right next to the creek, water access is only 50 meters or so away with elk and birds meandering and doing what they do. Leave no trace, leave wildlife alone, and enjoy the trails.”

“June 12,2016 didn't make it to andrews lake due to snowfields and water running under it. Great hike”

“The road to the trail head is solid and there is plenty of parking space. But it does fill up fast.”

“Everything was great... but if your spot is close to the entrance and/or I-70 you’ll hear the highway traffic ALL night long, especially if you’re in a tent or canvas/soft sided camper. Great food options and absolutely love ❤️ the ladies room. Staff was very nice, as were fellow campers. The store, game & laundry rooms are very nice. A playground & outdoor pool for kids, (but being it’s Oct. the pool was not open). ????”

“Absolutely love this hike. Not too crowded and saw a black bear right off the trail this time! Stunning views and not super technical, had a great time!”

“Don’t forget cash or you will have NO fire. Other than that, beautiful campsite within close proximity to gorgeous views and hikes. The sites were pretty spacious and quite, bathrooms were clean and trails were well maintained.”

“This is one of the scout troop campsites at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch. It was at the top of the hill. Camp area was nice and flat. We used the camp tents and platforms that are provided.”

“This was my first time camping in RMNP! The campsite was so peaceful & relaxing. We set up camp, then headed up to Lawn Lake for the amazing view! Would recommend this campsite to anyone.”
