“Glen isle resort was absolutely wonderful! This is such a cool place to be able to relax and unwind from a busy life. Our cabin had everything that we needed for the week and had little special touches throughout. The property is so beautiful! It even had a fireplace we could use in our cabin, which was one of our favorites! We recommend Glen Isle to everyone interested in a relaxing cabin with access to all kind of amazing adventures!”

“What a gem! Our original plan was to go up to Allenspark but the weather was poor so we took a chance on someplace closer and boy did we luck out! This little reservoir has electric sites and a bunch of trees. There is a nice pier for fishing and there were several goose families with goslings when we were there. It's a beautiful spot and we will definitely be back!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The shower facilities were down, but we were only here two nights. The campsites are set up very well with a raised box for your tent and a nice picnic table. Someone came by every morning to clean the sites of people who had left!”

“I enjoy camping here, and believe me - the kids will love being here too. Recently I have been hired here at the park as a member of the Grounds Crew, so come by on in and stay awhile. We all look forward to seeing you, Yogi, a ND BooBoo too.”

“This is a good place to stop in for the night. It was Mother’s Day, so when we checked in after hours they left a decorated cup full of candy and a flower for my wife, and for others that would be checking in as well. Thanks for going above and beyond! The place was neat and clean. They had some construction going on in the back, but it didn’t disrupt anything. We will definitely stay again if passing through!????????”

“Awesome location, just be prepared for mountain nighttime”

“Great campground! They have the cleanest campground toilets I have ever seen. The lots are spacious and have a good amount of space between them. No electrical hookups or water at each lot but there is a hand pump water well in the center of the campground. The area is beautiful, especially if you are looking for Aspen trees. Tanglewood Trails a few miles down the road was a fantastic hiking area. The camp host was very helpful and sells bundles of firewood if you need it. I would definitely camp here again. ”

“Good camping close to a city but far enough away to feel the total camping experience. My only issue is the spaces can be challenging to park bigger rigs. Nice to have electricity.”

“Our favorite spots along Rampart are in this area. There are picnic tables and toilets. Everything is pack in pack out so you wont find any trash cans. Also be aware that you are out in the wild and bears and other wild animals do live in the forests. Make sure you take all traces of food with you and drown out any fires you may have started. This recreational area is free to the public, but only remains so as long as we all do out part to keep things safe and clean.”

“This is so beautiful!! Fun to camp and hear the birds and wildlife. Peaceful, true to Colorado. A great get away spot, to escape the population.”

“Gorgeous but way too windy for campfire or picnic...you have to do that inside an RV. If you want a more trafitional camp experience go to Eagle campground at the end of the lake its protected from wind.”

“Such a beautiful place I saw a lot of wild life, like Chipmunks, mule deer, and we heard elk in the morning.”

“Excellent place to camp near the Rocky Mountains National Park. The price per night is 12$ (Up to July 2018). The place is equipped with a safety bear box metal type, which has lots of room for storage. The campground has some portable bathroom units which were nice and clean. There is no phone signal. Not at all. Nothing. So if you come here you can spend some quality time with your companionship or yourself. Also this campground is just 1 hour away from Boulder which is a cool town to visit as well.”

“Incredible views of the Rockies. Each campsite has a campfire pit for cooking, bear box to store food and parking spot. Bathrooms are clean and close by. Fresh water is available but no shower's. Beautiful place to camp !”

“Great experience. Camp sites set apart from each other just enough. Well maintained with abundant wildlife and short drive to Estes Park. There are bear sightings in this area so be sure to keep a clean camp and store food in boxes provided. We had bear sign in our camp ground but no problems. Love this area!”
