“Honestly better than a lot of fast food places, I love my time here. Here the staff was great, the food was great, the ambience was great and overall the experience was great. Was great. The fries were perfect, the burgers were cheesy and everything seemed freshly made. Made. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to have great burgers and fries. 10/10. Would visit again.”

“Heard from locals this was the place to get your pizza when in Auberry. Tony, took our order and was super helpful. They have picnic tables and good music playing. They have personal pizza and whole pizza $15 and $8. We got some hot wings and a salad. Everything was so delicious! My daughter said she was in pizza heaven! We enjoyed our Saturday nite and look forward eating here again. Thank you for such lovely evening Tony and crew!”

“Idk why this place has such low reviews. Decided to swing by on my lunch break for some crispy, spicy chicken sandwiches. The wait was like nothing, the line moved so fast. The employees were super nice, and my food and drink came out yummy. 10/10 will swing by again. :).”

Claymont Steak Shop

Address: 3526 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Although it has been a few years since I patronized the Claymont Steak Shop, I remember it as a busy but accommodating restaurant staffed by friendly, knowledgeable folks who's goal is to make you the perfect sandwich. If you want to sit down in a plain, diner/restaurant, sandwich shop with a nice, fresh (more on that in a bit), and well prepared food; give Claymont Steak Shop a chance. With hundreds of different foods, from starters, soups and salads through main meal to dessert; their literally is something for everyone. If you want to pick up your meal, make sure to call or order online at least 30 minutes to one hour in advance. Weekend afternoons and nights are busy. Regarding ordering online; these folks have developed a nice "order online" drop down menu. Their menu is available online for download and prior perusal. Obviously, as the name clearly stated, they are best known for their steak sandwiches and cheesesteaks. None of those chopped, processed, flash frozen sheets of "meat paper" served at so many shops. Each day they prepare, by slicing, fresh, Grade A beef. It is sliced thin and is never tough or chewy. Simply the best Steak Sandwich in Delaware and now, not only in Claymont but also in Wilmington and Newark!”

Wah Yuan Restaurant

Restaurant

“Good food at a good price! Never a long wait time!”

Charlie's Pizza

Address: 2703 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, USA

Restaurant

“I got the cheesesteak. Little Delaware is coming up big in the cheesesteak game!! Everything was great but I would have liked a little more meat. Charlie's will definitely be in my personal rotation. Alot of fried onions gave this CS a different texture and taste.”

Wawa

Address: 2621 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, USA

Convenience store Cafe Gas station Store Restaurant

“Just finished being renovated. Completely gutted and redone. Very bright and clean inside! Occasional change bummers outside but definitely not constant. Recently hired security guards and started locking the rear entrance overnights. Not a terrible area, and I've never seen much drama going on there, however not many places open 24-7 around so I think they do attract maybe not the best crowd, especially late night on weekends so I think having the guard certainly isn't a bad thing. I rarely go to Wawa on Naamans next to 495 yet I HAVE seen drama there, more than once (people trying to steal, yelling/arguing with staff, car accidents, ect.) So if choosing between the 2 locations I'd definitely choose THIS location on Philadelphia Pike!”
