“The breakfast here is amazing and it's normally really quiet. I recommend the donut holes and biscuits. Whenever we call for pickup food it's always been fast and delicious. Great spot.”

“Incorporates gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Buffet style lunch line. Around 20 tables that sits 4 chairs comfortably. Come before noon though because the line can extend from out the door due to large groups.”

“Considering the volume of business that this location handles, the service was good, the food was hot and tasted good. I don't even like McDonald's. But, in a pinch, it worked out.”

“Delicious takeout! Thanks to a previous reviewer for suggesting the snacks I know as Thai money bags, here they are called "golden fried pockets." Really enjoyed the Egg noodle soup with roasted pork and ground chicken. Appreciate that for takeout they put the broth and protein in one container, and the veg and noodles in a separate one. Savory broth with medium spice. Would absolutely order again!”

“Great selection of fresh seafood, including raw oysters. Toughest thing is choosing from so many enticing options. Good bar and cocktails. Wine list is quite adequate. Service was friendly and helpful, both a good knowledge of dishes. Definitely will return.”

“Cute shop! Great location! The mint matcha bowl was tasty and slightly bitter, it could have had more flavor. They offer a variety of cold pressed juices and smoothies that I did not get to try.”

“First time visiting and dining there and had a sandwich wrap which was very good. They have a large selection of soups and you can have a custom made salad made to your liking. I will definitely be returning when in the area.”

“Amazing food and wine selection! Checked this restaurant out on a whim and was not disappointed. The cheese and charcuterie paired with the wine selection was a real treat. Special thanks to our server Mike P who was very knowledgeable and helped steer us in the right direction with our selections.”

“Good Mexican food especially for late night. I appreciate that the rice has peas, corn and carrots. Never had anything bad. One of my favorites for a quick late night bite.”

“Came here during my 3-night stay in D.C. The food was always piping hot and fresh during the nights I visited this location, and the staff were nice and friendly. Definitely coming back again.”

“It took some time here for us to finally get the sandwiches but I have to commend the lady making them. She was a one woman show at this subway... for start to end and billing she was handling all of it. The sandwiches tasted great as subway sandwiches mostly do”

“This place has a good ambience. The whiskey/scotch/bourbon selection is impressive, and they have a variety of beers on tap. I had good service at the downstairs bar, but when we moved upstairs, we waited over 10 minutes without bar top service or acknowledgement. Granted, it suddenly got busier, but it wasn't anything that would have been overwhelming for the 1 bartender. We decided to go downstairs for dinner service. Our server was helpful, and made amends for us not getting our drinks upstairs. The food was tasty, and arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. It got busier as our meal progressed, and our server was spread thin. We didn't get a beer we ordered, so we just asked to have it taken from our bill. At this point, I think they deserve a 4 start rating. It was removed, and the establishment insisted on serving it on the house. They brought themselves back up to a 5 star. They showed character, and that they really do care about service.”

“Dive bar atmosphere with a decent brunch menu. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and fried cheese curds. The curds were fried very well but I just wish they were little more heavy handed with the seasoning. The burrito was hearty and comes with some perfectly crispy tots. The avocado toast came has four 1/2 bread slices and was topped with their simple pico. Toast was a good choice for a lighter meal. Drinks were solid.”

“Enjoyed the burgers here at Lucky Buns. Got the Lucky Bun burger and was not disappointed. The flavors meshed well. The menu is simple, but it works. Would come here again, but next time would order the meat cooked through instead of medium rare because it was just a bit too raw/chewy ordering it the chef's preference that way.”

“Straight up legit place. Arepas are spot on. Shredded beef is fantastic. All of the sauces go great on the arepas. I could eat ten of these and will stop by every chance I am in town. The owners are awesome and and very friendly. We had a great conversation! This is a must go!!”

“Sushi always freaks me out (how could there be this much high grade raw fish in the world?) but two times here and both times I've come away impressed. Fresh, fast and affordable - good combo by me. It's counter serve so you'll get to know your neighbor.”

“Their special papaya salad is good. I think you can ask to order authentic one. I went here with my Thai friend and she knew what to order.”

“A lovely gem of a place! Delicious food in a cozy elegant environment. I've been several times and have never been anything other than terrifically pleased! I try to go wherever I'm in DC.”

“Food: Everything I had here was packed with flavor. The face bacon is definitely worth trying. Kinda like an unctuous pork chop. Sausage sampler was homemade and paired with sauces well. Pork chop was on the bone (flavor!) and grilled just right leaving a hint of lingering smoke. Sauce on it was memorable. Atmosphere: Very chic setting with mixed materials (leather, wood, metal) . Fun and inviting. Great place to meet friends or meet new friends. Service: Was friendly and for the most part was on game”
