“I love this school so far. My daughters first grade teacher is amazing. I love how the faculty encourage the entire family of each child to get involved and participate with school functions (but don’t harass you about it!) They also held a meeting where parents can come in and learn “Conscious Discipline” methods, where we learn techniques for disciplining our children outside of what we may be used to. They also teach this technique to the teachers and even offered childcare during this meeting so parents could actually focus and pay attention! It seems like they truly care about the children and their families.”

“August 2019, I visited Kith and Kin for the first time and was BLOWN AWAY! The introduction the waiter gave, the atmosphere, the service, the food, the wine... IMPECCABLE! I am vegetarian, so I was happy to see a few options to choose from. The brussel sprouts, amazing. I was SOLD once coco bread was offered as the complimentary starter. In fine dining, I've never experienced that, and I was impressed. Located inside the Wharf DC Intercontinental hotel, the restaurant gives you amazing city views without the city noise, set in the heart of it all. and the BEST part is, it's black owned!”
