“I've had five different contractors work on my backyard in the last 6-months, and these guys were easily the best I worked with. The Brandel brothers are the most authentic and genuinely nice guys you will meet in the industry. They answer the phone (in person, despite being the owners) and gave me incredible advice on countertops, appliances etc before I ever gave them a deposit or signed a contract. They gave me an estimate of 2-3 weeks for the project. By the time I was able to let them get started (pergola had to be completed by a different vendor first) it was 9-days before my son's birthday party and I asked them to see what they could do to get done in 9-day essentially. There was no drama, they just looked at the schedule, and lined up every one of their guys meticulously and got the outdoor kitchen finished in record time, without cutting any corners. I couldn't be happier with the finished product, they communicated well every step of the way, and went above and beyond to deliver for us. All of their crew are a pleasure to interact with. Helen is awesome at the 3D models also. Highly highly recommend these guys. They genuinely care about their customers, unlike almost every other contractor these days.”

“Anyone with anything to do with wood flooring call Darren at Northern Mills. We have 18 year old wood flooring that has lived an extremely hard life. I mean kids, dogs,heavy traffic etc.. We wanted to see if we could bring back this floor since I had installed this in the entire house when we originally bought the house. I had a couple of flooring companies tell me the floor was too far gone and would have to re placed at a very hefty price tag. We were pretty much set on going with the new wood look tile. We then spoke with a friend of ours who highly recommended Northern Mills. After a phone conversation an appointment was made and Darren responded to our house. He never once suggested we had to replace the floor as a matter fact just the opposite. He said why would you replace a real wood floor with a floor pretending to be wood. I was concerned by the comments of the previous floor companies and Darren was honest and told me they can refinish the floor to almost perfection but there "May" be some slight imperfections when they are done. I really did not want to lose our wood floor and decided to have it re finished with Northern Mills and Darren. This was the best decision we ever made. I have to say our floor looks better today than when I installed it 18 years ago. We are thrilled with their entire process. They are honest, reliable, hard working and most of all meticulous and clean. They refinished our entire house in less than 10 days. Our contractor was very impressed with the quality of work and will be using them on future jobs. If you have wooden floor needs give Darren a call. He will be honest and let you know the truth.
