“Really loved the vibe here! We visited for the first time yesterday, around 6pm on a Friday. We seemed to get there before the dinner rush as there was no one in front of us. Ordered at the counter and our buzzer went off after sitting down for about 10 minutes. We sat outside in the patio area and it was nice. Not pictured is the loop cheeseburger but was told it was good. I had the salmon sandwich and it was good but the salmon lacked flavor and seasoning. I did enjoy the dill tartar sauce that came with it though. Might need to try it Cajun style next time. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Can't remember the other pizza type but was told it was good too.”

“I had the fried pork yellow rice with black beans which came with a salad. I'm also a huge fan of empanadas so I threw one in as well. It took about 20 minutes to receive which is respectable. The food was so good I almost returned the very next day for more. PPR will be added to my list of frequents!”

“Fantastic!! We hold a special place in our hearts for this place!! It has been about 2 yrs since we were able to eat there again, with the pandemic and everything, but we finally on our 16yr anniversary ❤ got to have a wonderful meal and re-attend, and enjoy and indulge!! Honestly there's nothing here that you won't like/love!! The proportions are more than generous and the flavor is consistent and great. We have had everything from the beef patties, ( which literally came out and sold out immediately) they were gone in seconds and there super good and super affordable! To the oxtails, to the curry chicken, jerk chicken to the Mac NCheese 😋 to the rice to the peas to the cornbread, (my word, the cornbread is phenomenal they have a secret recipe)... I can almost promise you that you have never had the best cornbread until you've had theirs!! Aside from that you get very very large portions!! Only critique is that the sooner you get there the better!!! It goes quickly, and so even though you'd still get something great; the later you wait the more likely what you were after will be sold out for the day. This process of cooking these authentic dishes start very early in the day and have certain times to carryout a certain amount of food so after its cooked and gone and after a certain time that day its gone. Love the blackened fish sandwich with the vegetable medley. My husband loves the Carl's way wings. The kids menu is also fun with menu items named after typical responses that you hear from kids, "I'm not hungry", "I don't know", "Blank Stare" ...? All in all a great place to grab a drink at the bar or have a meal with the family.”
