Words cannot describe what an incredible swim instructor and person Celeste Sandelis is. I was a life long non-swimmer, and I knew very little about what I should expect while going through the process of finding a swim instructor. I have always been a believer that experience matters, and so I chose Celeste because she is the most experienced swim instructor in the area by far. No one else even came close when I asked that question. It would be an understatement to say that I am now a delighted swimmer thanks to Celeste. From day one, Celeste was patient, gave me confidence, and introduced me to various instructional techniques and exercises. Not only is Celeste supremely gifted in teaching the art of swimming, but her kindness, role playing, tenacity and follow-through are second to none. She was always a cheerleader and was an incredible source of strength and perseverance throughout each interaction. Thanks to Celeste, I was able to learn to swim in a fun environment and in a very short period of time. She removed any obstacles that I myself had placed in my way. Never in my life have I felt so supported by a collaborator in making such an important objective come into fruition. Celeste was available at every moment that counted and I describe her to my friends and family as a major gift from the universe. I am quite sure that without Celeste it would have taken me far longer to feel the joy I now feel daily as a swimmer. If you are as fortunate as I was to work with Celeste, you should count your lucky stars. You have found the best and most experienced swim instructor our area offers. She is a powerhouse who will make your dreams come true if you are wise enough to put yourself in her very competent hands.

Celeste is an AMAZING swim instructor! I’m so glad that my 2 year old son had her as his swim teacher. He has learned so much with her in 8 weeks. He is now able to swim and float thanks to her. She is a wonderful and kind swim instructor.

Celeste is amazing!! We started with swim for my 9 month old and she made teaching a 9 month old fun and enjoyable. Having kids with access to pools you got to make sure they are safe! ISR wasn’t for me so Celeste’s approach to swim and safety is so welcomed! She is currently working with my 3 year old now too and he was using floaties and now he can float and swim without them and getting his face wet doesn’t cause a temper tantrum. Celeste is so very kind you will love her trust me! She’s amazing and I cannot thank her enough for helping my kids swim safely! If you are looking for someone who your kids and you will love and trust to teach safe swimming look no further than Celeste! I am so thankful for her!

This spring I hired Celeste of Deep Blue Swim School to teach my 2 grandsons, ages 3 & 4 to swim. I didn't want to put them in group lessons as they have a much lower success rate and I wanted them taught in their own pool. Celeste took on the task with great professionalism while still being personable. During the first lesson she made it so much fun with her brilliant techniques and aquatic props; the boys couldn't wait for the next lesson. It is quite obvious she was born to teach and loves children. Within 3 and 5 weeks these boys were swimming like fish with so much confidence.

I plan on bringing her back to teach specific stokes and diving in the future. This was money well spent! I most strongly recommend.
