The grass is always kept nice. It is very reasonably priced. Not dog or kid friendly for the most part, but a good place to stay if you are passing through. Bob McGlashen, the owner, is generous and kind. A reasonable man”

Jenkin's Creek Park

Address: 6401 Shoal Line Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34607, USA

Park

“I recently had the pleasure of fishing at Jenkins Creek and I must say, it was an incredible experience. As an avid angler, I am always looking for new spots to explore and Jenkins Creek did not disappoint. I opted for flats fishing and was thrilled to catch several redfish during my visit. The area is teeming with these prized game fish. The water was crystal clear, which made it easier to spot the fish and target them precisely. What really stood out to me about Jenkins Creek was the natural beauty of the area. The marshes and grass flats provided a stunning backdrop to my fishing adventure, and I felt completely immersed in the natural surroundings. In terms of amenities, the facilities at Jenkins Creek are top-notch. The boat ramp is well-maintained and the dock is sturdy and safe. Overall, I highly recommend Jenkins Creek to any angler looking for a great flats fishing experience. The combination of the natural beauty, abundant fish, and excellent facilities make it a five-star destination in my book.”

The only complaint is that the wifi has been out in half the park for months now and the owner has no sense of urgency to fix it yet he raised the rent. Nothing fancy. No amenities other than bathrooms and laundry. There are only two working washers for the place as well.”

Withlacoochee State Trail

Address: Withlacoochee State Trail, Ridge Manor, 3100 S Old Floral City Rd, Inverness, FL 34284, USA

Park

“Great road cycling or running trail. Old railroad. You can get over 50 miles from Dunnellon or 100 round trip. Connects to Blue Run of Dunnellon Park. That portion of the trail is the nicest in my opinion - more shaded, picturesque but just a few miles. Withlacoochee is prettiest in the Inverness section. It's all a straight, well paved trail with room enough to ride fast and pass safely. The trail undulates with the terrain but no really steep climbs. Grades are subdued as is usual with old rails but still you can tell when you are going up and when you are coming down. In a 62 Mile ride we had about 980 feet in elevation on our stats.”

Camp-A-Wyle Lake Resort

Address: 9206 Grizzley Bear Ln, Spring Hill, FL 34613, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Perfect little place. My little brother lives here and he is treated properly and the homes here are little slices of heaven.”
