“We were seated after a short wait, and unfortunately, there only seemed to be one server for all the tables. She tried to keep up, but it took a while just to even get our drink ordered. There were also tons of people coming in for pick-up orders. Once we did order, our food came out fast. It was hot, and that was a plus. The apps were probably our favorite part. My Kung pao chicken dinner was amazing. The sesame chicken was eh, and my son never complains about food....ever! My husband had his leftovers the next morning, and he agreed that it wasn't his thing. He ordered the Mongolian chicken, and it was ok..... the Kung pan chicken is definitely the one that one us over.”

The owner/manager took the time to read my review, to my surprise when I decided to give them another try they recognized it was me. “2 weeks late post (Before Ian hurricane) Kids definitely loved the atmosphere with all the preserved animals around. Kids also loved their kids menu. I ventured to try the alligator burger and it was a little harder meat compared to the beef burger. My wife loved the alligator chowder though. Pastas were great. The service was very good. A great place to eat especially if you want the feel of a cabin- out in the woods type of ambiance for lunch or dinner.”

The man stocking the fridges took notice and asked what my favorite flavors are, I told him the one I really liked was never in stock anywhere and he let me know he’d order them — then took it a step further and went through his new shipment and found exactly what I’d been looking for! “This was my first time dining in at U-Yee. Two years ago I got a takeout order soon after they opened, and every place has some hiccups soon after opening - today, there were no problems at all. Everything ordered came out relatively quickly and tasted delicious, and the veggie sushi options were great and fairly priced. My friend was very pleased with his raw sushi and the dessert. The fried ice cream was indeed cold inside the tempura batter and served with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream, very well done! Really happy to have a conveniently located sushi place around here.”

The place has a casual neighborhood vibe and our server was super friendly. I decided to try the special, which was beef strips with potatoes and mushrooms. The beef was super tender and delicious, but my only complaint is that there wasn't enough beef and heavy on the potatoes. My partner ordered chicken with German noodles and she was very happy with her meal. We shared a dessert, the black forest tower, which was tasty. They also have a good variety of German beer. Give them a try, especially if you like German food.”

“Came in for the Thursday smash burger specials. Seated immediately but table was sticky and one seat appeared to have a drink spilled in it. Hostess took care of the seat but table still sticky. Music was extremely loud and made it difficult to conversate with people at our table. Service was a bit slow in the beginning due to waiter being busy but he did great once he got to us initially and checked back often. The smash burgers came out quick and presentation was great. Burger patties themselves appeared unseasoned but the burgers as a whole were great. For less than $10 a person I felt like my family got their money's worth and left full and happy.”

“Came here on a Sunday night after the beach. Was raining, so we had to sit inside. They have outdoor seating on the roof. They have an amazing pineapple cream soda. Interesting decor. No wait for seating, however no one was at the front desk. Fun bar area, and even a self serve. Have to ask for straws. I think our server was new, she messed up my friends order. The food was good. Maybe a little over priced for how good it is. I got the lollipops. The marinara was cold, the meatballs had lots of flavor, the fried mozzarella balls didn’t. Seems pretty family friendly. The tv right above our table was broke. This would be a great place to catch a game. Parking is slim but lots of easy nearby. Right across from pier 22. Before I return to this restaurant, I’d check others in the area. A good fallback. EDIT!! There was a dirty diaper in the stall of the woman’s restroom! On the floor”
