He made her feel very at ease and comfortable before we headed out on the water. He was very informative and fun! The mangroves are beautiful. The water was crystal clear. “I have lived at Freedom Village in the Lexington Independent Living building for four and a half years. I am so happy that my husband and I moved here because it is everything we hoped for and more. Our apartment is spacious and was renovated to our specifications before we moved in. Immediately, we had friends and neighbors who welcomed us and made us feel like family. There are plenty of activities scheduled which we attend--or not--and many trips are planned to various museums, restaurants and entertainments. The food is excellent, served by staff who go out of their way to please us, and the dining room is elegant and spacious. One of the best things is the feeling of safety and security that Freedom Village supplies through the 24/7 concierge desk that takes care of all sorts of problems. One night just as we were getting ready for bed, our smoke alarm started beeping. I called the front desk and ten minutes later a security guard came and changed the battery for us. That's real service. We are truly living an easy, care-free life here at Freedom Village.”

“My family has been to Lincoln Splash Pad many times and have had a great experience each time. The splash pad area is awesome for children of all ages. It's small enough that the little swimmers can have some independence of going up and down the slides, but big enough that it doesn't get boring. I do wish that they would make the pool swim area a bit bigger and have the swim team end practice earlier as the pool is only open to the public for a limited amount of hours during the day, but hey, it's free right now so beggars can't be choosers. Also, the slides for adults are fun!”

“If you're debating on what company to pick for your adventure, choose this one. This was great. The all female staff made something I really didn't want to do extremely enjoyable. I'm not a fan of boats, nor am I a fan of heights, but my daughter wanted to give it a try so I had no choice other than to put on a brave face. I felt completely safe, and they were so personable and amazing. The thing I loved most, was the story the captain told about how she ended up here. For my 13 year old daughter to hear such an inspirational story first hand was really priceless.”
