“My husband and I booked Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park for our wedding ceremony (elopement) and it was an amazing experience. We only spent a few hundred dollars to be married on a beautiful and peaceful beach with that scenic lighthouse back drop. We had a morning ceremony and Bill Baggs helped us arrange an off duty ranger to let us in the park before it officially opened to the public. During the ceremony it was just myself, my husband, our officiant and our photographer on the beach. Bill Baggs even let us return the following day to actually make the payment so we didn't have to stress about any of that on our wedding day. The planning vendor we used for this location was Small Miami Weddings, and they were also completely amazing.”

“This place is very beautiful. I found some fallen coconuts and de-husked one on the concrete completely by hand without any tools! I met a nice Cuban American man who lives on the island and he showed me how to peel a coconut using a knife. He showed me out of the 3 holes on the core, only 1 reaches the water. He is a very friendly guy. I like how the coconut tasted. I also toured the state park, which requires only $2 for pedestrians and walked in the mangrove bushes. Walking in the residential area I watched those humongous $10M houses and people driving around in golf carts. According to Wikipedia a lot of celebrities including Richard Nixon lived in Key Biscayne.”

“Excellent location to visit and learn hands-on about nature and how to protect it. It has a natural trail with lots of native plants, the trail takes you to be beach. Inside the building there is a great seashells collection and a very special exhibit of the life and accomplishments of our heroine Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Naturalist/guides are very knowledgeable and very friendly. They handle large groups and kids very well. This is a Florida gem!”

“Crandon Park Paradise Cove Shelter was built expressly for weddings, and is available to rent, and if the shelter is not rented it is open for picnic or family use, when rented a posting is placed on the sign with date and party renting it. The Cove overlooks the water and comes with a built-in podium for the officiator. It has a large spacious covered shelter, and sits in a lovely tree grove, with a trail walkway, and a paved sidewalk to access it. It also has a lovely built walk way for the wedding ceremony and also a walk way to the beach. Open from sunrise to sunset.”

“Large skating rink available for party rentals with the large covered shelter with picnic tables great for a large party you can reserve it by contacting the park office. If not reserved for a party, it is open to the pubic for skating. It also has a large play ground for children behind the rink which is very busy on the weekend, there are restrooms, and a merry go round is located next to the rink. A very pretty park and close to the beach.”
