“Easy to get to and an absolutely beautiful very well maintained RV park. The site we were in was very roomy. The only issue we had was that we checked in on Sunday not knowing the office was closed, and there was no information as to where to go or how to get set up. With that being said, we would definitely stay here again.”

“This was a great outing. The Safari wagon takes you up close and personal to giraffes and camels. Got some great photographs feeding the giraffes. Their pet camel is a big puppy dog who wants to be petted on the nose. Highly recommend the vehicle tour. $119 per person.”

But they do have certain conveniences especially being able to buy propane and getting your tanks refilled right there at the park so if you're in the area and you need some propane don't drive all the way into Bushnell or to Dade City to stop off at 7 acres they can refill your tank for you right there”

“This campsite took forever to hike out to... though we didn't get on the trail until after dark. But it was a beautiful hike (with the exception of the muddy/marshy areas) and the campsite itself was pristine! All of the surrounding terrains seemed to converge right at this spot. The Withlacoochee River is a short little hike (approx. 7 min walk) down the trail from this campsite, so water isn't a problem. It is tannic water, due to the cypress trees, and it has a little weird aftertaste to it... so you might want to bring a little water flavoring (like Mio or Propel) with your water filter. Overall, it's a great place to camp and free to reserve the site on the Southwest Florida Water Management District website!”

“Well kept campground with decent size spots for tents. Options for primitive camping, group camping or just car camping with the RVs. Clean bathrooms and friendly maintenance crew. Nearby walking trails and an observation tower. Would definitely recommend, just be sure to mind the rules as they are a little rigid about them.”

“Very quiet, clean as an equestrian campground can be. Many open areas suited to temp corrals. Many options for hikers, small boat launch just before the entry, full service county river park less than 1/2 mile away. Dry camping, vault toilet, shady sites with fire rings, picnic tables and some have shelters. Best of all, an email is the only cost. SWFMD land. Def will visit again, since its literally 15 min from my house.”

“A great place for hiking. They also have campgrounds and trails for horses. Paths are well marked and much of the trail was shaded. Seemed to be many miles of trails to walk. No dogs allowed. This is a great free alternative to and right down the road from colt creek state park.”
