“Great little Park. They have an all new playground which is especially fun for the kids! There is a big open field for plenty of games of catch or soccer.”

“What a lovely place to visit…and it’s free. This is a great place to visit for all ages. There are many acres of beautiful trees and flowers and even some wildlife to admire and photograph. The paths are easy to navigate and meander throughout the park. Beauty is everywhere. The is a heritage village beside the park that does require an admission charge but it was closed on the day we visited. A great place for a walk or to immerse yourself in beauty.”

“This is a great park for the family. There are many areas to enjoy including pavilions, piers, benches, paved trails, unpaved trails, and more. We saw lots of different types of birds, fish, turtles, squirrels. There is a decent playground and several bathrooms around the park. The trails, both paved and unpaved, are stroller friendly. We will definitely come back.”

“Nice park in Western Largo. There is a small boardwalk through the mangroves that goes out to the water. There is a decent sized paved and unpaved (shell) trail through dense wooded areas. There are various trees including oak, palm, and mangrove and plenty of ground cover and brush. There is a creek, bridges, and a marsh as well. We saw a decent amount of wildlife, mostly birds while on our hike. There is also a picnic area, small playground, and restrooms near the parking lot. Also learned about German cockroaches from a weird sign in the middle of the woods...”

“A great variety of birds are located here so it's perfect for photography. They are used to people so you can get closer than normal. Go around the pond if you time is limited. Alligators can sometimes be seen when it's warm, usually in the 80s. Turtles sun themselves and fish are numerous. It is a water retention area so you don't want to fish there and sometimes there is a mass fish kill. No dogs allowed and no bicycles on the boardwalk. Feed the ducks frozen peas and corn and put your plastics in the bins. Floridians care about their parks and wildlife.”

“This place is great. The lots are spaced further apart than others and it's very quiet and safe. I've been to some others in the area and they were not something I would recommend. If you need a place to park your camper or rv on vacation it is your living in it like me. Give Scottish traveler rv park a try.”
