“This church is a traditional Russian Orthodox church similar to Ukrainian or Belarusian Orthodox church.The schedule for services is available on the website in Russian and English. It is a custom for any female to wear a skirt or a dress and cover your head with a scarf or head scarf (платок) when you go to Russian church in the USA (the same applies when you go to a Russian Orthodox church visiting Russia). Usually no pants, slacks, jeans or shorts are worn by women. For someone who is not familiar with our customs (традициями), it could be weird that wearing jeans or pants is not recommended for a female and you could be asked to wear a " traditional "clothing for your next visit if you were wearing pants or jeans. Do not get offended, it is a custom/tradition that exists for more than a thousand years.”
