“We found ourselves the only people in the clean and well-maintained parking lot here one quiet spring week day, loving this peaceful boat ramp and this pretty stretch of river. The area around the ramp itself is free of trash and the dock is easy to tie up to and quickly trailer your boat on and off of. My beau and I loaded up our picnic and headed out for a romantic lunch among the lilly pads, and the scenery did not disappoint. Along the way we even caught sight of a rainbow, a pair of bald eagles and a baby alligator!”

“Highly recommend Captain Jed's Airboat Ride. We took our son for his 19th birthday and our 13yr old son as well. Both boys loved it. Captain Jed really knows the water and where the gators are. The boys loved the speed and twists and turns. Better than an amusement park. Thank you Captain Jed for the awesome experience. We will definitely be back!”

“Our family enjoys coming to Lake Beresford Park to walk, skate and bike the paved trails and hike the various well cared for unpaved paths. There is a small playground and pavilion with picnic tables and nice, clean restrooms located nearby. We bring our dogs on leashes. Parking is sometomes a hot commodity on busy days but most of the time we have no issue. Tonight we saw 5 deer cross the trail in front of us. The property is beautiful!”

“Work out gym. It's part of Victoria Park's private pool, & clubhouse. You have to live here, and have a pass key to get in. It's great. Only down side, was your pass key use too let you in 24/7 but now a days, some of the neighbors kids got access late at night. So that didn't end very well. Other than that all in all it's a good spot.”

The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The club house is excellent for knowing people and sharing with all the employees. Breakfast is delicious and low priced.”

“Very unique micro-park. Would have never known about it except Erica Group (painter of the DeLand Wings) told us she also painted a set of Fairy Wings there. Unfortunately, those photos are on your wife's camera. Took our grand daughter (2.5 years old) and she enjoyed all the trinkets. Would be a great theme for a park with funding to improve and keep it up. Lots of potential.”

“Been coming to this park for years and always find new things to see and explore. Awesome trails with tons of little side foot trails off the beaten path. Has a sand vollyball net, playground, swing set, pavilions with picnic tables, bathrooms, nature trails, and a really cool bamboo garden with little springs. The location makes this place really special. Good energy.”

“Went to the Manatee Festival this year and the kids had a blast! They loved getting their faces painted and even got to pet an alligator. There was an amazing array of food and merchandise vendors, live music, and and you could even bring your dogs for an additional fee. Valentine Park was designed with youth sports in mind and has 2 lighted tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, lighted minor and major sized baseball fields, full sized football/soccer field, sand volleyball pit, t-ball field, and a lighted girl's softball field. There is also a playground and a picnic area with restrooms on site.”

“What a beautiful day. We didn't see any Manatees but that's probably because my friend was too lazy for us to rent a canoe. The water is so beautiful and clear. A we saw a fish stick his tongue out lol photo below. Great for swimming, canoeing and they have a guided tour boat that takes you out. Great day in nature.”
