“Me and my co worker Morris walked to the Florida National Guard to ask them if they would attend a surprise birthday party for one of our regular guests who turned 99 years old. Bill Manley was super supportive by sending an email out to the troops and showing up the very next day. It was a last minute idea and we appreciate you making it happen. Thank you for all you do!”

“We hosted our 70-person wedding reception at this beautiful little museum. What a gorgeous piece of history. The grounds surrounding the building are immaculate, Mary (the coordinator) was so easy to work with and everything was so smooth from day one with this venue. I HIGHLY recommend considering them for your wedding reception or any other event for that matter. They do also offer space for a ceremony if that is something you are interested in. We were married in a chapel so opted out of this, but I would have definitely had our ceremony on-site as well if we did not already make plans elsewhere. Thank you Mary and team for all of your help making our day so special! ”

“This is a really cool place with a number of historic buildings from different places around Florida that were moved to this spot. It is well maintained and open to the public, plus it has special events on certain dates. My favorite part was reading the stories on the walls of people who lived many years ago, going through hard times and struggles but always coming out shining bright and making an amazing impact on the world! Definitely check this place out, it is like a peaceful time capsule to enjoy!”

“Small but interesting gilded age home museum. You hear a lot of the tour guides make light of the house and collection and I was afraid it would be over the top like a Ripley's Believe It or Not, but was quite the eclectic tour. Very informative. I enjoyed my visit.”

“A lot of the amazing things you find here are not limited just to the exhibits. Opportunities for children, art students, people of all ages, the community, artists and more. The building houses many studios equipped for a great array of art mediums. I am extremely impressed. On top of that, very compelling exhibits from some incredibly talented artists and students. I love the sunflower exhibit, all the flower art was donated by the many artists connected to the art center. Then they were sold to collect donations for the Ukraine...brilliant! A wonderful surprise and well worth the drive.”

“We arrived too early, the museum doesn’t open until 1pm. We left and returned too late, they closed around 4pm. Short hours. The art that we did see on the outside was amazing. I have a creative mind but my creativity is “stick figures” compared to the art on display here. It’s amazing to see creations made of rocks, horse shoes, tires, old bolts and screws. I loved it without seeing everything the museum had to offer.”

“As a local artist, I love this art center! The staff has changed from top to bottom since the beginning of the pandemic and I know that they are going through some adjustments. It has always been a great place to enter and display art and share with the local community! Exhibits are always fun and they have had consistently high level jurors. A really great opportunity for all levels.”

“I'm the same to say I've lived in Dade City since 1967 and have never been into the Heritage Museum. It's located at the train depot in Dade City on the 98 bypass. My daughter Jessica Bolan volunteers there and sells her one of a kind chaotic art punk jewelry. They have many miniature train sets. All kinds of history about Pasco county. It's worth stopping by.”
