“Wife and I came in Tuesday May 17th 2022 around 8:30am for breakfast. We have been here a couple times and the food is pretty good. I have had the basic breakfast with eggs over medium, bacon, grit and biscuit. I also had the same breakfast another time with sausage. Both were cheap and good. 2 small issues I had the last time we were there: the sausage was very dry and the grits were like soup. I don't understand why people can't make fluffy/thick grits (this is Georgia!). Otherwise the food was good. They made fresh coffee which was excellent. My wife had the steak biscuit once and grits the next time; she liked the steak biscuit but couldn't eat the grits. Food is of good quantity for the price and the staff is always friendly and professional. I'd give a 5 star but the grits have got to be better otherwise I'll have to go to the other diner on the square for my breakfast.”
