Garrard Landing Park

Excellent park! Great place to jog, walk your dog, and just enjoy nature. Highlights include a scenic pond with two vibrant water fountains, a covered bridge, shady nature trails that loop by the river, and a play ground for children. Various signs are posted along each path telling the history of the area or explaining the plant life.🪴
Like most parks in the region, this one is well-maintained with much thought to the details of its design. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here when you have the chance! Well worth your time.

Love this park to walk my new puppy this summer! Huge space with beautiful lawns and great trails. Love the water fountains and barn bridge too! Watch out for snakes as it gets dark the evenings near the edge of the water - I’d recommend staying on trail as it gets dark to avoid any encounters. Otherwise, such lovely park! A hidden gem!

The nicest park I have been to in a long time. This place is a gem. It is clean, restrooms are top tier, modern playground and nice trails! Most of all I felt safe there with my family. We will be back!

It's a photographers dream. Very beautiful especially over by the creek/small stream. Perfect for kids to play in and walk barefoot for pretty pics. Just wish it hadn't rained while we were there.
