“This shrimp truck is located right off the highway, not far from Turtle Bay. I ordered the scampi with a side of the hot sauce (the lady working recommended this). It was amazing by itself and I LOVED the hot sauce. The shrimp still has shells but they peeled super easy and it was worth the peeling effort. It also comes with a side of rice that was delicious, especially with that hot sauce. They also had a shaded area to eat. I took a picture but after I already dug in (I couldn't wait).”

“Great little spot! We have been coming by the old sugar mill for YEARS and they finally renovated it and got new tenants. We were excited that it was Thai food. Food was pretty good. We had the Pad Thai and the Pad Seiw. Both were good and the Pad Seiw had fresh looking extra thick rice noodles that were really good. Sauce wasn’t as sweet as we hoped though. Pad Thai tasted very good and was traditionally sweet. Big fresh shrimp with it. Spring rolls were good too. Great new local spot!”

“I’m from the PNW and am super picky when it comes to seafood. I must say Deez Bowls had the best poke I ever ate! The fish tasted like it was caught that day. The owner hung out with us and made sure we all felt more than welcome. He gave us other insights on where else to eat and we appreciated his hospitality. Great experience all around!”

“We had a great diner, very delicious and very tasty. First we got fried calamari, then the trio meal and local catch. For desert we got a pineapple cake. We had a pineapple martini as a drink and it was strong and also very tasty and sweet. I loved the food and the drink. I am very picky and usually don’t finish the food and leave a lot. Here I ate everything it was that good!!! I have a strong sweet tooth and my favorite was the pineapple cake :)”

“We checked out Kahuku Shrimp Truck based on the recommendations of locals. It didn’t disappoint. Pricing is very reasonable per plate (you’ll spend around $15/person) and the portions are generous. I was impressed with the amount of shrimp they give you. I ordered the garlic shrimp and steak and my wife had the garlic shrimp and hot shrimp. I thought the garlic shrimp was awfully tasty however I wasn’t told the shrimp weren’t shelled so that was a little messy. The steak was okay. There wasn’t much flavor and it was pretty chewy. My wife preferred the hot shrimp to the garlic shrimp. I thought the heat level on the shrimp was medium. The people are friendly and there is ample seating outside (with coverage if it’s raining).”

“This pizza place really is a gem ! We had a nice hawaiian pizza with the crispiest crust and full of flavor 💜 I tried a lot of pizza joints while in NY and this place really has nothing to envy ! I have to say that we had an amazing service by a lovely lady that took the time to bring us our pizza to the beer garden right across! Will definitely recommend to friends and family that plan to come to the island !”

“We ordered 2 mixed plates and split them between 2 adults and 2 kids. We paid about $35. Shrimp & Steak, and Chicken & Pork. Starting with the Shrimp, it was hard to peel, and slightly over done. I will pass on their shrimp next time. The rest of our meal was top 10 of our favorites here on Oahu. The pork was sweet and succulent. The steak had a teriyaki flavor and was absolute perfection. The chicken had a hickory smoked vibe, leaving the whole family wanting more. Macaroni salad, regular salad and rice all standard fare and enjoyable.”

“I visited Kahuku Farms for the first time last week with a couple of friends. I had a wonderful time there. The experience I had there was one that I have been searching for since coming to Hawaii. It is chill, the workers are kind, and there is an overall calm at the farm. Amazing staff and wonderful place. The food can be pricey but you are paying for quality and freshness. I ordered a smoothie and it was great.”
