“Hole in the wall Filipino restaurant in Whitmore Village. Aesthetically it's not the cutest place but that's how you know there's gonna be some good, authentic, homemade food in there. First time here even though I'm a Wahiawa native. They sell ala cart, by the plate, and platters. It looks like lots of people ordered ahead for platters which I will also do myself the next time. I went a couple hours before closing so the food didn't look fresh but we enjoyed it. Salty and savory food that hits the spot and wear something comfy cause it'll definitely be kanaks after.”

“Not sure what the other reviewers problems were, but our son went here for 2.5 years and had no trouble. The teachers were excellent and we had excellent relationships with all of them. School's rough looking right now as it's undergoing a major renovation and expansion. The curriculum was fine and they had numerous programs for parents and students.”

“I went there for the last few months of my 5th grade year. I have to admit, it was overall a pretty good school. I was an understudy for the Mayday Court, I had good grades, I made some great friends, and had an amazing teacher. So it wasn't that bad of a school. I liked it. I was in basketball, I was active, and got an overall pretty great education. I am now in the 7th grade almost in 8th, and I can say that Solomon was a great school for me to end up going to when I first moved to Hawaii. :)”

“First off, Tasia is most pleasant to communicate with via email & once you meet in person you truly feel like you're friends. Her response rate is impeccable as you will find that is not always the case with native islanders & being that I planned my wedding from the main land, this took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders. She checked in on me throughout the entire process & even kept up with my school schedule which I found admirable; she really took the time to get to know me. She runs her business with great detail & organization. As far as her day of service, we were absolutely pleased. She superseded my expectations; Tasia made "East Coast Productions, The DJ" a full service wedding go-to. Not only did they provide our music but she arrived with a head piece on, found me & introduced herself with a helpful demeaner. She covered some basics with me and let me know she'd be checking in with me throughout the day for anything I needed. She took initiative and moved my cake centerstage for cutting & helped around the venue as she saw fit. Carlos did his thing on the one's & two's and Tasia helped direct my entire event; my guests thought she was the Day-Of Coordinator. We would definitely seek "East Coast Productions, The DJ" again, should we find ourselves hosting another event at the gathering place, Oahu.”

I also played the piano for services...encouraged to do so by my grandmother, Dessie Masker. If there is still a big pulpit Bible in the sanctuary it was donated to the church in memory of my grandmother by my Dad just before we moved back to the mainland in 1965. ❤”
