“Found this hole in the wall thanks to google reviews. I am a Mexican food fiend and this place checked every box. We went with the 3 street tacos to try all 3 meats + beans and rice. First, the beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a ton). The perfect balance of saltiness and burst of flavor. The tacos were full of flavor (pork was my favorite, followed by steak then chicken). And the homemade hot sauce added to the tacos without being overpowering! So happy I passed the tourist food trucks to come here.”

“Delicious food and great service. They don't take reservations but they do walk-ups (first-come-first-serve). Worth the money for delicious "cook your own" and "all you can eat." Cocktails are ono. The grills are great and have excellent smoke ventilation that suck the smoke away. Hair still smells like BBQ at the end of the evening but at least your stomach is full and happy. Definitely recommend.”

“Had lunch here as a quick option before spending the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It's part of the market area before the entrance which has a few other options to check out. The menu was labeled with what was vegetarian and gluten free so if you have those diets (which we did in our party) you go in knowing they are conscious of these things and you will be able to eat something. I had the Veggie Burrito which was hearty and good...I generally prefer pinto or refried beans, but neither of those are vegetarian here so had it with black beans. I was quite filled when it was done done and thought this had a nice authentic flavor to it. The person who took our order seemed awfully unhappy to be there which is not typical of Hawaii and bummed us out a little. This is a good quick stop (well it was quick for us...a bit a line developed after we ordered) before heading into the center for the day. There's plenty of seating behind the truck too.”
