Boise Rose Garden

Address: 670 Julia Davis Dr, Boise, ID 83702, USA

Park

“This is such a beautiful little area. The roses smelled amazing. I didn't see any signs not to walk on the grass, but I wish they would've have some signs that would say whether or not it was allowed. We wanted to walk to one of the waterfalls but couldn't get to it without walking on the grass. Other than that, it was pretty breathtaking. Someone left bananas with a note on one of the benches, so that was a nice touch. Really beautiful people here.”

“Really pretty path that goes along a cliff-like drop into a mostly-dry creekbed. We walked, but bikes were on the trail. We got there later in the evening, which was a lot more comfortable than the day's high which was almost 100. The area has a nice peak, which had a great panoramic view.”

Lucky Peak State Park Unit 1

“Each and every time I have visited Lucky Peak and its lovely vicinity, I have never wanted to leave it! Then, as a growing child/youth back in the Seventies and Eighties, AND especially enough, NOW as a grown woman who lives for much adventure and the outdoors as much as it's possible!!! Lucky Peak rocks!!!”

Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens

Address: 4255 E Fairview Ave, Meridian, ID 83642, USA

Cemetery Funeral home Park

“A nicely manicured and maintained cemetery with in-ground, above ground, and cremains options. Toward the back is a specific military memorial section. The front of the garden is on Fairview and is a bit more noisy, but toward the back gets much quieter.”

Gordon Harris Park

Address: 2400 E Three Bars Dr, Meridian, ID 83642, USA

“Great park. Unfortunately a lot of teams fight for the space and there isn't a defined way for them to reserve it. You could have a field that is rarely used and then suddenly a football field painted and a whole team takes over. Would like some kind of "reservation" process.”

Settlers Park

Address: 3245 N Meridian Rd, Meridian, ID 83646, USA

Park

“Settler's Park is awesome and family friendly! Our Grandsons, Konstantin and Yuri spents hours pretending to be pirates as they climbed into the Crow's Nest in the pirate ship, climbed rocks, created beautiful master pieces on the percussion instruments made for children. They ran and ran, made new friends and totally forgot about the swings! Wow, this is truly is a park made for young and old so bring your lunch and sunscreen, don't forget your camera to capture the smiles and laughter of all!”

Check in was also fast and simple. The whole family (5) had a blast. I have 18,17, and 14 yr old boys. We went after a meal so that we didn't waste any time grabbing snacks. I can't say much about the prices or snacks available. The guys in the slides were a lot of fun as well. A great way to spend an afternoon!”
